This result was so predictable and so depressing. Skillful rugby players and Orcs versus hobbits (Wilshire, Cazorla) and smallish older injury prone guys (Arteta, Rosicky). It's always the same against this lot. As for Giroud, pah....and Mourinho says it's Chelsea that has no strikers.

[quote="donaldo"]Where to start?

Bad team selection: Arteta the snail starting before Flamini at Stoke of all places,Our only hardman on the bench. How was the Ox not starting pace and width

Attitude: Lets not beat about the bush Stoke are shit. But what you do know is they will battle something you cant say about Wenger's pussies. If i had a pound for ever time Wilshere ended up on the deck from the slightest touch i could retire tomorrow.

The Attack(Or lack of it):Podolski got paid £90k for that today i say no more. And Giroud is saving himself for the bedroom tonight. When will the penny drop with our fans he is not good enough never was never will be.

The Clueless One:The lack of tactics,The lack of pace in the team, the lack of width, the lack of a goalscorer all down to the

What a great position we were in but we were always gonna be the pacemakers in this run in especially when, unbelievably, no striker was bought let alone anyone else in the window - play like this and we've got some painful games to watch - FA Cups our only poss salvation

If Wilshere is England's future then England are fucked. Gave every ball away today. Dribbling into nowhere, dummying the ball in the middle of the park. Thick chav twat.

Wilshere was my favourite player a few years ago,

Now I cannot fucking stand him, he has not became the player he should have been.

Very sad.

To be fair don, our problems today were not of a defensive nature and nor were we bullied off the ball so flamini would have made no difference in that regard. Playing 5 in midfield condenses the area and when you are filling that area with lightweights then it is doomed to fail. Playing with a paceless striker allows their defence to further squeeze the area and of course when you have a wide player drifting in there as well, then it is playing into their hands

Today we lacked bravery all over the place - we pulled out of 50/50s, chesney flapped at crosses and most tellingly, the team played not to lose rather than playing to win  With 10 minutes to go le cock went experimental and played 2 up front (as innovative as it gets with wenker  ) but why not show the will to do that earlier in an attempt to win it rather than accepting a draw ? The fat Spanish waiter blew a league title for the victims a few years ago by playing not to lose but that mentality doesn't work in England. Setting your team up as he does, sends a safety first message to the players and maybe, just maybe, affects their willingness to run off Giroud ?

I'm not mad about the result today (might be tomorrow though  ) because nothing really surprises me about this team anymore - what disappoints and frustrates me though, is the gutless Mickey Mouse losers our club has become and will continue to be as long as le cock remains in charge   I recognise the argument made suggesting that a change of manager won't alter the change in ambitions of those in the boardroom, but for me it will change the ethos being transmitted to the players cos a new manager will not be allowed to celebrate 4th place like a trophy

Just got back and there's not much to say beyond

F**king Gutless manager and players

They didn't turn up till the 77thmin. 4:32pm they started to try to get something out of the game.

It's not just the manager that needs to be gone, certain players are taking the piss out of the fans that pay good money to watch them. They will not win the FA cup because they will bottle it even if they somehow get past Everton.

The season is over, not because of one result but because they have no concept of how to get themselves over the line and neither does the manager. They didn't miss an opportunity today, instead they cowered in fear when an opportunity arose. We are all Bill Murray again waking up to Sonny and Cher

BS articles that are so meaningless to be actually embarrassing. They spout this sh*te out but they don't believe a f**king word of it.

Christ where has our Arsenal gone we are run by a spineless moneygrabbing board who support a manager who is past his best the gap between the working class fans and the club is sadly getting wider about for another fans protest march.

Chalk that up to another player ruined under Wenger? Along with Arshavin, Podolski, Chamberlain, maybe Ozil...

A few observations after returning from that horrid shit-hole...

1) Was AW selecting Podolski in a match that wasn't suited to his style (we needed ball carriers and pace on the flanks) a massive told you so to the fans?

2) TV5 is the club captain regardless of his selection but surely having him spend all of half time out on the pitch is hugely detrimental to the team and embarrassing for him. He surely now has no authority if Wenger doesn't require him in the changing rooms for the ht talk?

3) Belief. The majority of fans, in our heart of hearts, don't believe we can win the league. Yes we're only 4 points off top but we''ve seen us fade away in many seasons past. The players played like they knew the challenge was beyond them. There was a sense of resignation and inevitability about the result. Surely AW should be inspiring confidence and belief in the players?

The FA Cup is now our season and if AW plays a weakened side ahead of Munich then the little good will that is left after another appalling transfer window will surely disappear. Wouldn't surprise me if this season is his last hurrah.

cameron326 wrote:Giroud put in a decent shift. He was being hacked all over the place but kept getting in there, but what the fuck is he supposed to do? He's a decent striker and he was doing what he does all game. The fault is not with him, it's with the total lack of a plan B. Why the hell Podolski was taken off I have know idea. And while I don't blame Ozil, who's an excellent player in a limited team, that's a hell of a way to blow 42million on a player who absolutely must have fast players making runs ahead of him when we have or utilize none.
It's a fallacy that Giroud ''puts in a shift'' he doesn't press the opposition's defence at all, I can't see what the useless big nosed *word censored* does apart from trying to flick the ball on and going down like a sack of shit when he is blown on.
