You don't have to be a genius to figure out what will happen, Everton in the FA Cup is the skid before the spectacular crash (Bayern) before the walking wounded drags itself injured to the hospital to be saved (4th spot), Wenger is the savior, hope for 2014/15... linked with every player under the sun.... penny pinch.... make desperate signing late Aug 2014.... crash out all of competitions Feb/March 2015..... and so it goes on....

Wenger is a fucking ghost, floating aimlessly around between the living (2004) and the eternity of every year after. Let's just have an exorcism and be done with it.

You're both wrong - it's in reference to a threesome I had with 2 fat ladies in the back room of a bingo hall

Today's result has absolutely put the cat amongst the pigeons for le cock - I have no doubt that wholesale changes would have been on the cards if we had of won today but now I'm not sure wenker can do that. He has to know that the fans reaction to todays performance will not be good and there will be an edgy atmosphere around the ground at the start of the game which will only be intensified by a less than full strength available line up - can he risk all out war if we crash out of the cup on the back of a weakened line up ?

As the week goes on I might be able to focus on this game with a clearer head, but right now today's (non)performance is occupying my thoughts but I will say this.......everton are a good team and will be boosted with the return of lukaku so either we bring or A Game or our season finishes next saturday

Well, it was fun to be optimistic while it lasted. Eventually, like a drug, Arsenal bring you crashing down to reality and the reality is another groundhog year with Wenger at the helm.

I chalk this one up as a loss. Cue booing at the Emirates as we see a lightened squad for this one. However, good performances for Gnarby. Could we actually see Vermaelen come back from the dead in this match?

Where is the wheels falling off emoticon?

I will be out of the country and in all likelihood not watching. Is that a good or a bad thing? Fuck knows. I'm not expecting much anyway. Even if we do win it will be a fucking tepid performance. The usual laboured tippy tappy shit, with us capitalising on one Everton mistake rather than some brilliance tearing them a new one...

And just think, if we do beat them we get to have our pants pulled down and seven shades of shit fucked out of us by City on the national stage at Wembley. The magic of the cup!

Wenger will play a weakened team that will coincidentally have directness, width and pace, and we will win.

Same as Liverpool, we will win and he will have no idea.

Definite away win, we have seen it all before, our season collapsing in the space of 3 weeks.

Pretty clear to me.....the season either lives on or officially dies after Saturday lunchtime.......unless the glory of another 4th place floats your boat

To all of you getting annoyed about the prospect of Wenger binning the Everton game in favour of Munich: do we actually have any in form attacking players at the moment that even makes this an issue?

There's only Oxlade-Chamberlain from the attackers that warrants a nailed on spot in this team at the moment. If he did theoretically rest/drop Cazorla, Giroud or Ozil for the Everton game for the likes of Gnabry and Sanogo, I'm not sure it would make much difference.

If he leaves out Oxlade-Chamberlain vs Everton I'd be annoyed, the rest are much of a muchness.

We all know he's still going to prioritise Munich and if that means throwing in a few wild cards like Gnabry into the mix vs Everton, I'm all for it, instead of another tepid performance by one of our more established players.

Much like the Liverpool game in the 5th round, a changed line up from the dross against United a few days earlier resulted in a improved performance with a higher tempo. I'd be very happy to see Gnabry and Oxlade-Chamberlain start this game.
