Orcs Away - March 1st.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Chelsea win, Liverpool win, Tottnum win, Everton win, City win a cup that doesn't matter to the Self harmer

We produce the usual dire display at Stoke

Thanks for a magical weekend Arsene

How can you come out with that, we played stoke away and the spuds played Cardiff at home?
Arsene can't be blamed for everything, really hope we beat Everton in the cup and win some of the games most say we don't have a chance.
I've not once thought we would win the prem, up against the sugar daddy clubs almost impossible.
Just hope we dont lose out on top 4 to the spuds.
Don't think we will, they are shit.

Err, what about Liverpool. They had a tougher away game than us, and Chelsea won away again and didn't concede a goal again

Wenger decided not to sign a striker and also to leave our fittest and brightest player on the bench in the Ox

Anyway, your wet dream of another 4th placed finish is still in tact. The Spuds are shit so reach out for the tissues.....the CL qualifier in late July will return once more

Most of those games were predictable, when we play stoke it's there cup final.
If we finished outside the top four, and the scum got in there, that's what they spent£100mil for, forget the wet dreams it would be a fucking nightmare.

Not really. If Wenger did the obvious that every *word censored* and his dog has told him to do, sign a fucking striker, we'd be in with a real shout now, regardless of the sugar daddy clubs. The mousers are showing how far you can go if you have got top strikers in your team. Our last one was Van Judas, Wenger has had 4 windows to replace him but didn't.

Wenger out.

We tried to sign suares, look around top strikers are hard to sign, unless you've got untold millions.

Could've got Higuain, Diego Costa was available for £23m in the summer, Jackson Martinez was begging to join us in January. Wenger just isn't hungry enough to do it. It's not hard to find a striker better than Giroud ffs.

This sugar daddy stuff is absolute bollocks!

For the money we have spent we are doing very well, no one is saying we need to spend the money chavs and shitty have!

We are only about £50m (yes £50m not £200m+) away from properly competing for the league and that is within our budget, regardless if we have a "sugar daddy" in charge.

Absolute bollocks, they've spent more than we ever could of.

I'm not denying that did you even read my post? :?

What im saying is clearly we don't need to spend as much as them but If we spend £50m or so on a top class striker we would be able to seriously compete with them.

I don't understand how you cannot see that

Spending 50 mil won't help us compete with them.

Yeah heaven forbid we miss out on a last 16 pummelling. Or is it all those world class players that we won't be able to sign any more that we currently do with such frequency. Or is it the fear of losing our top stars because qualifying for the CL has always made them stay so far

Its a complete myth that we need CL football. It really seems to be killing Liverpool this year doesn't it

Its purely because we've been pipping Spurs to 4th that its even viewed as any form of success. If it was any other team we wouldn't give a shit.

The Be All and End All is what keeps Wenger in a job and makes Kroenke richer.......it does nothing for me so I couldn't give a flying fuck if we finish 4th or not. I feel sorry for those that genuinely get excited by it

So you'll be happy if the scum finish above us? I don't know any mates at the arsenal who would.

Clearly will.

You are trying to tell me with a Suarez, Falcao, Cavani we couldn't compete?

There is no arguement to be had tbh.

got back this pm from the match/weekened away.
so many bad memories from this match
defense fairly solid, but Arteta too slow to distribute the ball, Sagna dreadful passing just gave the ball away too often,
Gibbs when he did get forward crossed the ball into begovic at least twice - so poor after good build up
nothing in attack. tip tapping nowhere , why not sometimes shoot FFS- so frustrating to watch
OG has got Jacks habit of going to ground clutching his leg and both were at it , just get up and play on, it just holds up our momentum what little there was.
how many goals have we scored from a set piece around the D this season? cant remember any , why haven't we got someone to have a go from this range, instead we shoot straight at the wall.
why wasnt Ox on sooner he was up for it and made a difference?
why did we only get going after the goal?
we had nothing to cheer ,nothing ,apart from that fat bastard adams card

the stoke support only made noise after they scored -swing low sweet chariot- quite funny I suppose
graceless lot in victory- but what should we expect-

so disappointed
