Victims FC to win the League, or who else will?

Mansour has a $17 billion wealth. Enough to sustain that mob to win the PL ad infinitum. His family is worth ONE TRILLION DOLLARS.

Give up hope all ye that enter here.

If Liverpool win it, it will show even more than we should of done this year.

I've said all season that I like what Rodgers is doing there, I don't think they'll finish above city but they should finish above us and quite frankly they deserve to after the tonking they gave us.

That was no accident, that was tactics n preparation and team organisation. If he buys and sorts out his back line next summer they'll be above us for a few years. Even if they sell Suarez they'll still have Sturridge and I'd think with CL football next year they'll get a decent replacement.

Which is sad given their budget is less than half of ours.

Btw I used to hate them in the 80,s but Michael Owens Cardiff robbery apart. I haven't seem them as a threat for 20 odd years so don't hate their fans as much as united or the new Chelsea fans.

Every bastard season we get the joy of spending the last few months dreading one hideous bunch of *word censored* or another winning this trophy or that while we look in from the outside, drifting along with nothing meaningful to play for. For all intents and purposes we are essentially g88ner helpfully holding the love of his life's hair back while she rams a smorgasbord of cocks down her throat like one of those hot dog eating contests, and occasionally fluffing the gents in the queue behind for her, just to give them a helping hand and make ourselves feel like we're a part of proceedings. It's even more fun when we get to choose between the lesser of two (or more) evils. "Cheering on" the mancs vs the chavs in the CL final, or the chavs vs the scum in the panda pops cup, or nasri over van herpes for the league just because getting your balls trapped in a trouser press would be marginally less horrific than deep fat frying them. Fucking brilliant fun. City is the only remotely palatable option, so if/when this season pans out the same way I'll have my corby press fired up and ready to go. I love football! :barscarf:

This. ^^

And in all honesty if The Cannibal gets crocked I think they'll really struggle to even get that 3rd spot. Out of the available options, the Arab pimp's plaything Citeh winning it would bring the least amount of vomit from me. :|

I think they'll run out of steam, they are on a great run of form but they would have to stay lucky with injuries and suspensions. If they are still in with a shout when they play Chelsea and Man City again then the pressure would be well and truly on and it remains to be seen whether they can cope in that situation.

Their run of games is still favourable in comparison to ours so it will probably be a close thing between us for 3rd.

However if they did manage to win it I think I'd be happier about it than seeing Man CIty or Chelsea win it, especially Chelsea.

not a hope in hell, they have flattered to deceive for 20+ years now, they are on a good run,for now,it will end soon enough, they are no better or worse than us and we haven't a hope in winning the league.i said chavski at the start of the season due to the Mourinho element,i haven't changed my mind.

Agreed the chavs will probably win it, the worst case scenario imo. If Liverpool somehow pull it off it would make a complete mockery of the league altogether, but they wont. Reckon United will do them for one. They'll actually be fired up to stop them, and Grannybandit will probably do a job on Gerrard like he's done to Arteta. And Mourinho will easily have the tactical nous to outwit their 4-2-4.

Still a no from me, I think one really poor result will have a knock-on effect for them.

What's more I think they'll struggle next year. If they do make CL that's probably 8-10 draining midweek matches with a lot of travelling and an inevitably demoralising exit around Feb/early March. They have not really dropped any stupid points at home and have excelled at beating shit teams in contrast to past years with consistency fuelled by two strikers. Not going to be able to replicate that with those extra fixtures imo.

Agreed. Add in Suarez will leave, whether they get CL football or not. A summer away from Liverpool where Madrid's people and his agent can get in his head without being emotionally blackmailed into staying by Brendan & Stevie and he'll be agitating to go. Gerrard will only continue to wane, especially after a summer being given the runaround all over Brazil. Sturridge, good as he may be, surely cant keep up this sort of scoring rate long term. Teams will clock on & start to sit deep against them, negating half their threat. And most of all this whirlwind they're caught up in will simply die down a bit. They're riding the crest of a wave but the spine of their team are all still either shite, old or likely to leave.

Liverpool have an average keeper, a piss poor defence and a decent (at best) midfield but in a mediocre league they have the key ingredients to be competitive - pace (Sterling & Sturridge) and a world class finisher (the cannibal).

They most certainly can if they continue to score like they are but I I think their defensive shitness will probably cut their challenge of at the knees.

Maybe I'm in denial but there is no way in the world those scouse c*nts will win the league - momentum is huge in sport and there is no denying that they are flying it at the moment but they will not be able to sustain it until the end of the season.

Still hoping that citeeh win it (though not as confident as I was) but the pikey chav b*stard and all his pikey mates winning the league would be worst case scenario for me - not too many chav fans around here so from that regard it is preferable than the victims winning it but I don't think that there is a footballer in this world that I hate more than the pikey chav captain so I never want to see them win the coin toss much less a trophy
