Stoke City’s Charlie Adam has today been charged by The FA for violent conduct, following an incident with Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud.

The incident, which was not seen by the match officials but caught on video, occurred during the fixture between the two sides at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday 1 March 2014.

Adam has until 6pm on Tuesday 4 March 2014 to respond to the charge.

Under a new pilot project in Premier League matches this season, if an incident has not been seen by the match officials, a three-man panel of former elite referees will be asked by The FA to review it and advise what, if any action, they believe the match referee should have taken had it been witnessed at the time.

For an FA charge to follow, all three panel members must agree it is a sending-off offence. In this instance, the panel were of the unanimous decision that it was an act of violent conduct

Official Stoke reaction: "Charlie and the club are surprised and disappointed to learn of this and will appeal vigorously against the decision."

How could they possibly have anything to complain about? The fat prick was kicking lumps out of our players most of the game!

Suck on that Charlie!

Typically stoke think it's a conspiracy. Whelan and Charlie stamping on our players and Kevin Friend could only try and look the other way.

We may have lost but at least they can't pretend that they aren't a dirty team.

Stoke's support was shit by the way, relative to how it's falsely talked up by the media anyhow. I was all set up for a horrifying experience that would make Istanbul look like a tea party. Instead they sang that Tom Jones song. Once.

Unfortunately does fuck all for us and they won't care now they've won their cup final.

Not sure the ref could be expected to have seen this but officiating at Stoke is always a disgrace. I think it's about one thing us and the Scum agree on as we both regularly get lumps kicked out of us every year whilst ref turns a blind eye.

Stoke kick the sh1t out of Liverpool too, refs do very little, I think I remember Huth using Suarez as a surf board and the ref doing nothing about it.

It's quite telling Stoke limit this sort of stuff to their home games when they know their baying crowd will limit the ref's response.

Hence their woeful away record since promotion. They don't even bother when they go away from home against any decent sides, rather just conserve energy to kick the shit out of people at home.

aaa)
I do not care if we win fuck all !
I do not care if we fail to qualify for Chumps League football season after season.
bbb)
I do care about the people chosen to manage the squad doing so in a manner that in each and every game we field a team and play in a manner that best represents our chances of winning !
I do care about those that are chosen to represent the team do their very best to win any game that Arsenal participate in .
In particular I care that we do our best to learn from past mistakes and make our best endeavours to try so that they dont' repeat the same mistakes as paddy says over and over and over again .

I care that the financial resources of the club are used to keep the club solvent, and to do the best that they can with those resources without pissing it away on inflated wages for also rans .

What frustrates me is that we do not do any of bbb) and have not since 2008 yet are chastised for daring to criticise the managent or the team .

Charlie Adams, one of the nastiest footballers in the PL, has been charged over his stamp. The Orcs intend to vigorously challenge the charge. Apparently in Mordor it's a sign of affection.

Finishing in the top four, CL place don't bother me. The thought of the scum finishing in the top 4 and we don't really bothers me, and always will. FOYS

To be fair, that's all we ever used to hope for - that and a decent run in the cup.

Well, before we sold our soul and left Highbury and started charging a grand up front for season tickets and £65 a ticket.

My ClockEnd ticket for the 3-1 win over United in 1991 was CAT A - £6.00.
