Victims FC to win the League, or who else will?

yup. no place for Wenger or the AKB's to hide - thats why i'd prefer Liverpool to win. so that that lot shut up about "no money from the board" and "he built a stadium"....

I think its better for the future of our great club if Liverpool win it cos it will mean some people will finally realize the amount of bull shit they've been fed the last 4-5 years and push the owners and board to make changes.

ie. its not only about money but about hard work on the training ground, preparation, tactics, flexibility, humility, an eagerness to learn by trial and error, the ability to take advice from others and work as a team. i.e. pretty much what it takes any successful business this days....

Look at Liverpools set up :

http://www.anfield-online.co.uk/squad/b ... staff.html

opposition analyst, performance analyst, Head of technical analysis, coach AND manager for the Reserves, separate fitness coaches and physios for the reserves, Director of Football strategy, Director of player Development - all IN ADDITION to the same managers, scouts and coaches we have :

https://sites.google.com/site/arsenalfc ... hing-staff

i bet if i look at City, Chelsea and Bayern, Real Madrid etc they are set up the same way.

We are a Dinosaur now. The football world has passed us by, maybe the vicious knifing scallys winning might lead the owners to see that ?

i'd take a year of gloating plastic scousers if it meant we moved into the 21st Century.

If they do, I will honestly boil my head or go and live in a bunker for 12 months. The media wankathon will go into overdrive.

I would even rather have Chavski winning it and that really is saying something

The ludicrous outburst of euphoria will be sickening if somehow they do. We know how the Scousers love their mythologization, so we'll never hear the end of it, especially in Belfast where I am. At least with Chelsea and Man City, it's no big deal because they've both won it recently.

It also means there'll be no hiding place for Wenger, if a relative novice like Rodgers can take Liverpool from 7th to 1st and beat the "financially doped" powerhouses of Man City and Chelsea.
I can only imagine Wenger would smugly point to their £50m loss announced today as evidence of non-sustainability :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

I would rather Chavs won it than these lot. Thankfully I've never had to take the threat of Liverpool winning the league particularly seriously at any point in my lifetime :barscarf: and long may that continue.

Sadly yes. Why? Two (yes TWO) quality strikers up top, pace and shoot on sight. Sound attractive? I sincerely hope they don't for all the obvious reasons but at least, fair play, they are going for it.

their total debt is only $45million.

thus suggesting if we wanted to compete, we should have stayed at Highbury yeah ?

it'll be a shock if any side with skrtel and toure win the league, but it just goes to show that if you score goals AND you protect your back four then you have a chance this year.

i have to think that in a normal year, United would have been about 12 points clear by now and booking their holidays.

its been a funny old year.

They will not finish above Chelsea. I've been a bit in denial about Chelsea but looking at their fixtures/results they are strong favourites imo. They've taken 29 points from their last 11 games and beaten Liverpool, United, Everton and Southampton and City away in the process. They've got the Scum and us at home (two fixtures they generally win) and Liverpool away near the end - their other 7 fixtures are all against bottom half teams.

Citeh are capable of going on a great run and pipping them but Liverpool will not.

I don't buy the hype that is bubbling under the surface about Barkley - he is a talented player who is comfortable on the ball but still entirely unproven - but if he was at United or Liverpool he would be in and about the England squad. Their clubs are the only reason Henderson and Cleverley are there.

That's a new one on me.

What makes you so sure Gazidis and Kreonke will go if Liverpool win the league? - I can't think of a logical reason why that would happen.

Stan is the owner, so can only fall on his own sword... does he care that much about the league to do that if the scousers win it? (surely that's a massive NO)... and would he sack Gazidis for on field struggles even though commercially we've improved in many areas?

Wenger might go... but then, he might leave if we win the FA Cup or fail to win the league. Who know's what's in his mind - his contract is nearly up ( :barscarf: )
