It's classic Wenger. This has disaster written all over it. I can see Flappy costing us the cup today.

Wenger was quoted in yesterday's Grauniad as saying it's "vital" we win a trophy this season. I wake to find we are actively helping the opposition by fielding an inferior goalkeeper.

What an arrogant so-and-so. :banghead:

it doesn't matter who is goal, what matters is our lack of a decent striker which has already cost us this season and will continue to do so.

A manager who has won nothing for eight years, and yet still feels no pressure to start his best GK in the biggest game of the season. If we get stuffed today, but give a credible display against Munich, and win the Virtual trophy, it will satisfy a lot of our fans, how pathetic.

Exactly, I can't remember a game where the 'keeper was the problem, it's always been the lack of chances created/finished :banghead:

I'd take it even further mate and say that it makes no difference who is in goal, up front, in the middle or on the bench because with Wanker in charge, we've got no chance of ever winning anything again.

He's the best option. Giroud is rubbish and Podolski is useless upfront. You're not advocating Barry Bender are you

Christ alive, is this how far we've fallen, Sanogo is our best option?

With both Arteta and Flamini in centre mid the only positive I can see is that the onus to defend on Ozil / Santi will be reduced so hopefully they can concentrate on creating.

Everton line up looks dangerous, Lukaku might cause problems. Start like we did against Bayern and we'll win. COYG :barscarf:

Yes, Wenger's negligence has lead to this.

Anyway I have a feeling the postman will have a stormer today.

Fabianski choice disgrace, agree with Sanogo choice. He's awful but at least his movement stretches the game and moves their defenders about, slug Giroud would have made it easy for them to squeeze the game and play compact.

COME ON YOU FUCKING REDS.
