u18's vs Everton @ the emirates

Post by WEWEREINVINCIBLE! »

seeing us my bros and mates will be in munich, i thought id take in the youth cup game at the emirates on monday. .com says members can order free tickets until thurs 5pm then after its £4 and £2 concessions. when go to order says all blocks are SOLD OUT? (only selling lower tier) cant believe for one minute this could be the case, could it?? or is website just malfunctioning?
anyone else manage to book tickets?

Maybe they only open one stand - call them, if enough people want to go they may open the upper tier etc.

I'm surprised more people don't go to the nextgen etc given the cost and some of the exciting young attacking talent we have .

tried again and got pair. they prob doing block by block. it is unallocated seats says opening the lower tier only. my old man always enjoys watching the youth games, he actually prefers to first team games less theatrics etc and players are playing to make careers for themselves.

Perhaps Canadian 17 year old striker Caniggia Elva will play, is on trial at moment.

same reason i prefer going to Brentford now - not as pretty, but the commitment and effort is there.

Bosman actually eventually improved lower league football imho - a lot of players are on 1 or 2 year contracts and with the clubs not paying transfer fees, if they don't perform they get let go.

the downside is if you get a really good player they move on - like DJ Campbell , but there's a lot of talented kids at that level and there's always another one.

personally i don't think brentford would have survived without the free transfer system.

I thought this was on general sale and tried to buy a pair of tickets but it won't let me without putting in a membership number. Does anyone know if I'll be able to call the box office to tomorrow to buy a pair and just pick them up before kick off. :?
