Chamberlain has been like a different player since coming back in the last few weeks/months. Gone is the low confidence, dithering on the ball, negative decision-making and inability to beat a man. Whenever he gets on the ball he wants to drive forward and with his pace and power he can skip past people for fun. It opens up the pitch and injects the tempo into our play that we crave.

Walcott has very slowly developed into a very dangerous player (albeit with gaping weaknesses still), but I've said from day one the Ox has it all and could be genuinely top drawer. Pace, power, work ethic, willingness to shoot, an ability to beat men with ease on either side and two good feet to back that up with. If we can help him work out how to put that together on the pitch he will be class.

Would be insane to play him in Munich.
ox is also not a rent a quote nor an Ingerland knob like the other two. keeps his head down, works hard. he's in his best form for three seasons imho - i thought that 'go at them' first instinct had been coached out of him by you know who...

i hope he keeps it up. and fuck England too.

I think the mods should crack down on this anti English bile that is emanating from one particular poster, I also believe that if you wish an injury or take enjoyment from an injury to an Arsenal player then IMHO your not a proper Arsenal supporter

On the football side of things I am made up we beat Everton, missed the game as I took the dog out on the new forest for a run :barscarf:

I think you're being a bit tough on Walcott. He's an easy target because he's such a frustrating player sometimes and hasn't developed as quickly as we'd have hoped but he has kept his head down and as far as I can remember he's always been professional. Hardly the same as Wilshere.

I hope your dog doesn't get that mystery virus from the New Forest. You know the game was on free to view TV don't you?

The problem with acting with grace and putting morons on ignore is that other people can quote them when they mock them as well.....

Left foot - you really are a big baby, a snide with not enough balls to name me directly, you always use 'whoever' ' someone' or 'particular poster'

You're are the worst kind of coward - and a bitter failure obviously, trying to get the mods to ban me because you can't win any arguments.

I am pretty sure that anyone with an IQ above your Andy Townsend/Ian Dowie/Dennis Wise level understood my club before country comments weren't anti-English at all.

What a sad end to a wonderful day - so much positivety on here from those that love the club after the biggest game of the season went well.

If the mods ban me for saying the above then so be it, but I stand by my arguments and opinions.

he is rent a quote, but I have no problem with his attitude on the pitch or his development.

I think we discussed this before - I'm gutted for him. This was his push on year, after a great half season last year and tbh he got what 3 in 5 or something and was looking like he was getting going again then bam.

Theo does do it on the pitch I agree.

I find Walcott to be a pretty level-headed and grounded bloke to be fair, which I can't say for many who play for England. We desperately miss his pace too.

Chippy - I put him on ignore as the mods requested. As I said before, if he doesn't like my posts he doesn't have to read em. He's obviously chosen not to put me on ignore so he can try and use my posts to get me banned by you, despite the fact that I am one of the first board members ( I came across from the first Gooner BB just after Herd).

In 16 years I've never even had a warning, so it ain't me. Have a word eh ?

Yeah I don't really get the whole rent-a-quote thing clockender? Doesn't really seem to seek out media attention and I'd rather him be cautiously diplomatic than run his mouth off.

Also don't really see how you can lump him and Wilshere together given that you seem to criticise Walcott for being too cliched/boring with the whole 'rent-a-quote' thing and Wilshere on the other hand is well-known for petulance and brainlessness.

Don't really get it either. Theo clearly gets picked to do a lot of media duties as he's one of the few footballers capable of constructing a coherent sentence.
