Let's just hope he does a Christopher Wreh in the FA Cup semi-finalSteveO 35 wrote:This lad is going to do a Christopher Wreh.......soon one of his wild lashes is going to fly into the top corner
Move on 3 years and he'll be playing for Bishops Stortford

FA Cup QF and we have this balloon in the starting line-up!
He really is right up there with Gervinho in terms of - I'm shit and I really dont know what I'm doing stakes.

Got a bunch of stick from a few people today because I applauded the decision to take him off, apart from one decent attempt on goal and a clearence from a corner the man was utterly useless. You can imagine my delight when Giroud scored twice.
I really don't get why he is being brought out for the big games, he looks nowhere near the quality we require, we looked a lot better with Giroud up front, at least he puts in 100% and gets into the thick of things.

Re: The Yaya Sanogo Progress Thread
Funny that it seems to be one extreme or the other. People were raving when he ran around a bit against Liverpool but when he runs around a bit against Everton he's shit?
I personally was not that excited after the liverpool game, he gave their shite defence a bit of a physical threat but I didn't think he showed the required consistency in his first touch or technique. However, yesterday I didn't sit there thinking that he was total shit, my main thought was that he is beginning to be affected by the fact that he had a couple of good games without getting a goal and fluffed our best chance against Stoke (although I am still yet to see a single second of that game). Needs a goal to get himself going imo.

I don't get the hate towards him on here. Of course he's no where near the standard of striker we need but it's hardly his fault Wenger plucked him from the backwaters of French football and signed him up, is it? What person wouldn't take that chance?
Fact of the matter is that what he may lack in ability he goes some way in making up for with his enthusiasm. He was a constant menace yesterday and against Liverpool, always running after things and making himself available. Yes, his touch is heavy 4 times out of 5 but he plays his heart out and that's all we can ask for.
Blame Wenger for his signing, but not the kid for giving it his all.

If it's any consolation, we'll sell him in 2016 to Real Madrid for 25m and they to Chavs in 2019 for 39m.
Well, at least, that's what happened when in my fifa
Maybe Wenger plays it too, that's why he bought him.
