THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I asked for and got the sub I wanted when I wanted - but I have no idea why today of all days he changed that annoying 70th minute change he's been doing !

Resting sanogo for Tuesday perhaps ?
Must agree.
In the interests of fairness replacing Sanogo with Giroud earlier than at the usual 70th min. mark was a decent shout at pretty much what we all wanted.

But also in the interest of fairness I must point out that wake me up Yaya Sanogo should be nowhere near Arsenal FC never mind in the starting line-up of an FA Cup QF ffs.

I think you should be ashamed and embarrassed 1989 to do that sort of thing and Augie shame on you too for wanting the sordid details.

Why, all of a sudden, has that issue come up ? Hasn't he always had full control ? Maybe, just maybe, this is a suggestion that some of the control he held for so long has been taken away with one of this season's signings (ozil) ? His absolute power has never been questioned in the past so something must have happened to lead him to seek assurances on this :rubchin:

We have to win the FA Cup now. Surely ending the trophy drought will be the opportune time for Wenger to hang up his boots? Of course on the other hand it could also mean the new contract is cumming... :rubchin:

I haven't been so optimistic since Ipswich Town and Birmingham City stood in our way :D

Isn't football wonderful sometimes? The match at the Etihad was unbelievable, (as 5 pints of Peroni during the game bears witness). Morale must be sky-high, so nothing to lose in Munich now!! Wenger must be wetting himself in Totteridge!
