Medical Staff Review

Better not give the gun to Giroud.....he'll miss!! Then drop to his knees and bang the ground, look up to the sky, then pick the gun up again and miss another fucker from 2 yards!! 8)
You forgot that he'll put his fucking tongue out while he's looking at the sky,

I'm sure Wenger said something similar to this a few years ago. but may be wrong. That only highlights how long the problem has been going on for and why more hasn't been done to address it. Whether it is all lip service to the article by the physio the other day who knows but you have to wonder whether Wenger is too long in the tooth (or stubborn) to change his ways now. No doubt we lack depth in certain positions but we have been unlucky to lose the players we have at crucial times, particuarley Walcott and Ramsey, who really would have made a big difference in the games coming up. It is more injuries like the repetitive strains which need looking into.

ha ha almost spat my tea out at that one.

again, this should have been looked at years ago. we all knew it - even without working a day in football.

things dropped off pretty much when Gary Lewin left. which was 2008.

having an internal enquiry in anything is completely pointless unless you're looking for a scapegoat - i hardly think that Wenger will admit any mistakes. government are the same eh ?

what you want is external independent appraisal - and if they come up with poor hiring, training and management then you know what to fix.

There is also the possibility that an independent enquiry would determine that there nothing wrong with the medical staff but the fault is with Wengers training methods.

which as we know unless the Board have requested this enquiry would never be allowed to happen...

of course the biggest thing in this story is that rambo is now out for at least another 2 weeks, missing chavs city and swans games.

so 3 months for a hamstring pull again. after pod took 4 no one questioned our methods then ????

according to wiki a grade 3 should be 4-6 weeks, grade 2- 3-4, grade 1, 2 weeks, slight pull - a week.

As we all know, this isn't the first time Wenger has talked about reviewing the medical/training methods at the club.

Lets hope they finally get to the bottom of it.

I have a feeling (as many others do) that the day Wenger goes, and his methods are phased out, our injury problems will witness a sharp improvement.

I don't just think it's our injuries that would improve, I think helping to keep players in better condition and less fatigued would be reflected by results on the pitch. I'd highlight Arteta and Wilshere as two players who have seemed constantly tired and less than fully fit over the last 12-18 months, not to mention Ozil looking fucked for half the season.

We reviewed them last summer and we need to review them again.

Wonder if this is Gyro Frame contraption still in use, as shown to some of our 1932 reserves?
Might help Bendtner remove his love handles.

augie wrote:They can all fcuk off with their review - this is a club that has several seasons with a big number of injured players and yet we are going to investigate it now ?? Why now ? Is it because having a 42m player injured makes it more important to investigate ? Is it because the heat has been turned on wenker by that fitness expert's article in yesterdays papers ? In a nut shell it sums up wenkers management.........he is reactionary rather than proactive and is totally incapable of seeing things for himself

I would also agree with perry when he says that they should also have a review in other areas that are seriously fcuked up like scouting, coaching, contract renewals and maybe the most important investigation should focus on how a manager is allowed to be the decision maker in who is hired to be his boss  Of course it goes without saying that there should be a full investigation into the lack of accountability in the club

This "investigation" is a sham cos no fcuker will be allowed in there to investigate or criticise wenker's methods
Maybe we should campaign for a Public Inquiry :rubchin: There seems to be one every other day for just about anything nowadays tbh

Medical team OUT

Post by p206ab »

Is there any club in Prem that has such "bad luck" with injury recovery?
Why nobody from Chavs or Shitty has setbacks? Don't we have a state of the art facilities?

Özil,Wilshere,Ramsey, Kos all two weeks away. Rambo should be playing two weeks AGO! :banghead:

I think the medical team and the fitness coaches are equally shit .

We look knackered nearly all the time on the pitch ,other teams seem far far fitter than us ,and the amount of breakdowns when resuming training after injury are appalling !

There has to be something in this but they have only just recognised there is a problem .

When u have one of the smallest squads in the premiership you need your players to be fit and available !

Diaby is considering a transfer request as his personal space is bieng violated by the ever increasing group of crocks !

Diaby will be ok. They have just opened the "Diaby Ward" at the training ground medical facility. 8)

Visiting our medical team for treatment to an injury is akin to visiting Sweeney Todd for a short back and sides :?
