Absolutely, with a very credible chance - a draw still leaves us with an outside hope too if we were to beat City at home.

There is just the IF part to overcome.

Go to the pub, have a few drinks and a laugh. Not expecting much but that FA Cup run and today's result have put me in such a great mood!

They will play Galatasaray in midweek, we'll have a full week's rest, they have the dirty rat Ramires suspended and Willian will also not feature. Wenger is due a win over Maureen and when better to do it than in his 1000th game, and at the bridge, ending Maureen's unbeaten home record in the process. :D

Come on you fucking Gunners.

Can't see us winning this. Chamberlain now looks to be a doubt, and is the only one that offers us pace. We are just too one dimensional at the moment and can't seem to hold onto the ball for very long. If you look at the last 3 games against Stoke, Bayern and Tottenham we have had no fluency, and have created hardly any chances of note. Although we came away with the win today if we play like that next week we will get beaten easily, Chelsea have a lot more quality than Tottenham.

0-2

Will Maureen be in the stands as well for this one after a red card yesterday? That may be quite relevant as he always seems to be winding up or bumming the 4th official, or actually encouraging the team- the latter is surely cheating according to Le Prof .

Ramires sholdnt be playing again this season after yesterdays tackle, no wonder he was wearing a highwaymans mask :D

we can't seem to keep any kind of possession and Giroud isn't even holding the ball up well these days and is increasingly isolated. Wenger will play for a draw. Even without Willian and Ramires, they are way better than Spurs. Mourinho's home record is amazing. Can't see us getting anything. Hope I'm wrong obviously

I've always assumed we're leaving announcing Wengers contract until after this game as it's his 1000th in charge.

However, would the board have the balls to do it if we get battered?!

I'm with MarkyP.

Narrow 2-0 loss on game 1000, and yes I am being sarcy as we won't lay a glove on them.

Sadly Maureen has our number for now and we will get nothing from this game, more chance of getting something off Shitty as they aren't as potent without Aguero, Hull yesterday were awful even with the man advantage.

Wibble , :- They don't need balls because they don't care what you or any of us for that matter think.

Of course they would. I'm not sure that the board are even aware of how we do in the games. Bunch of **nts!

If it was Chelsea they’d be ranting about a “Mourinho performance” and champions win playing ugly blah blah. We contained them and won, missing Walcott Ozil Ramsey too; since when was that not enough?

I agree, I am the first to admit it was a poor performance yesterday, but we managed to get 3 points in a game that we were awful in, and the team deserves credit for their ability to grind out the result.
