Re: Tickets for Wembley
Don't count on it, there are 44,000 season ticket holders after 42,000 tickets. Even if ST holders cant make it or don't want to go for whatever reason, a lot of them will still take up their entitlement and offer to family/friends.jacko-arsnl2 wrote:if it does go to silvers, which i think it might, would they use a credit level or just make them available to all
I also expect quite a few hundred to disappear into the Arsenal black hole with insiders taking large amounts of tickets either to sell on the black market or for their own personal use.
If there are remaining tickets it wont be that long before the game, so I would imagine that if there are a few thousand left that arsenal will apply some sort of preference to away credits, but they have been known to totally bodge this sort of thing up in the past and may just make this a mass scramble with over 10,000 silver members scrapping for tickets. I think there are in the region of 13,000 silver members because this plus the season tickets leaves around 3000 seats for each home game, which is the number of tickets normally available for red members each home game, or at least thats what the club says.

Re: Tickets for Wembley
The stats I have are that we have 33,175 gold members and 6,366 platinum members - so basically 40,000. As there 42,900 allocated to Arsenal fans I reckon 5,000 or so will be left for silvers as most will take a ticket - but not all. I reliase the club will snaffle some, and there are also away scheme members too that won't be gold etc etc
I do think though that around 5,000 is a good estimate, and it will be a bun fight as there are 23,147 silver members apparently. Maybe if you have been to every round of the cup so far you'll get priority?

Don't forget that the away scheme get first dibs too.

It pisses me off that away ticket members get first dibs above us season ticket holders.BournemouthRED wrote:Don't forget that the away scheme get first dibs too.
Many ATM resell their tickets through AISA (who champions their cause) or just give them back to the club and get refunds if they dont want to use them.
This means they cherry pick games to either attend for themselves or resell for vast fortunes for tight games .
All because they have the money to whack em on their credit cards !
Its wrong !
I have to wait for round two behind these mugs despite as a season ticket holder I and others like me pay the club its major source of income .

Re: Tickets for Wembley
Just for info, it looks like you can only choose which block you want to be in rather than row and seat. There is a more detailed Wembley seating plan which may prove useful for some people here:

Re: Tickets for Wembley
For people asking whether theres a chance it will go down to silvers etc just found this on the ticket information
Silver, Red and Junior Gunner members should refer back to this page on a regular basis for any further information regarding availability for this fixture
So who knows could be lucky.

I think this is a more accurate figure as quoted by the guardian, and tallies with the allocation we have received.
As I said, there may be a chance of silver members getting a look in but I wouldnt expect there to be many tickets left from the gold/platinum members, and watch that arsenal black hole swallow up a lot of any spares that remain.

Re: Tickets for Wembley
Why? Most members of the away scheme are season ticket holders anyway so they deserve priority(see link below).Herd wrote:It pisses me off that away ticket members get first dibs above us season ticket holders.BournemouthRED wrote:Don't forget that the away scheme get first dibs too.

I would suspect that there aren't many fans that arent gold members in this scheme, and if that is the case they have probably been travelling away with the club for years.
If you are a season ticket holder you will have known that since 2006 you need away credits for any major arsenal cup final. It usually has only been 3 over 18 months to guarantee a cup final ticket which to me is dead easy to achieve.
With our allocation for this match as long as you get in early doors ie Monday morning, you are pretty much guaranteed a ticket.
Re: Tickets for Wembley
Agreed... I can understand some of the OAP's being caught out, but if you are computer literate and use social networking then it is a doddle maintaining a gold membership at, say, 5+ away credits!nut flush gooner wrote:If you are a season ticket holder you will have known that since 2006 you need away credits for any major arsenal cup final. Re: Tickets for Wembley
For the benefit of us 2nd class citizens who can't apply until Monday, does the website show what's already sold out and what's available?
Would rather not be stuck high in the Upper Tier but wondering what the chances are of Lower Tier seats?

Re: Tickets for Wembley
If it does get to Silver members who have bought over a certain number of home tickets should get first dibs rather than a ballot, its not technically difficult to do but there isnt probably the will to do it.
Ive a feeling that a fair number of gold members wont take up their tickets as they may be away or in Jail or both
Do referees ever get the non supporter tickets I wonder, cant get any though my local skrill Premier club even though I know a fair few people there, refs are my plan B

Re: Tickets for Wembley
Do you reckon if it goes as far down as silvers that they'll hold some back for reds?
