Tonight I shall watch the Olympiakos game and I will be rooting for van Judas and the rest of the midtable tossers in Manchester because I want them to go through and draw Real//PSG/Atletico/Bayern.
I would say Barca but they are too flaky for my liking.
The other 4 mentioned will rip through the Manure defence at will.
Consider these match ups if you will-
Bale/Ronaldo/Benzema vs Vidic/Smalling/Gurney face
Costa/Villa vs Vidic/Smalling/Gurney face
Anyone in the Bayern team vs Vidic/Smalling/Gurney face
Hopefully UTD will lose and that will guarentee CL footy next season for us. I know its slim the chances of them winning the CL but then so was Liverpool 2006.

I can't wait
Disagree, it would be infinitely more humiliating for them to get knocked out by Olympiacos, a team who I believe have lost every single game they've played in England.

This reminded me of the posts in 2012 along the lines of, "I want Chelsea to go through to see them humiliated in the semis"!

Phil Jones wouldn't get a game in my Over 35's league team tbh. And both our CH's are piss!
Maybe the third penalty on Sunday was a bit dodgy but they should have got a fourth one anyway. The most important thing about the penalties on Sunday was the fact that they were given...nothing shows the demise of United as a playing power and an intimidating force more than the fact that a referee actually goes to Old Trafford and referees a match.
True.
The first Sturridge one was a dive. The one the ref didn't give was the worst of the lot, a deffo penno.
The only three people that seem to rate Tom Cleverley are Ferguson, Moyes and Hodgson. And even Ferguson still felt the need to wheel out Paul Scholes because of the state of their midfield.
I think Hodgson would pick one of my shits for England if I dressed it in a United or Liverpool shirt mind.
Olympiakos always get rolled over away from home in this competition. They're not absolute cack but they're the sort of team that a good European side will beat by 3+ goals if needed. In past years I would still have ranked United as strong favourites as they would have probably grabbed a goal in the first 20 minutes and would have just battered down the door from there, and Olympiakos would have needed to pull a goal from somewhere to stand a chance and hoped they kept it down to 3 at the other end.
United still have a decent chance but they have scored so few home goals this year (same number as Fulham) that I could see Olympiakos going through without scoring. If they get an early goal they'll get their tails up but if it's 0-0 at 30 minutes the frustration/tension will be massive.
Would just love United to go out tonight. Penalties would be good. Joel Campbell to score would be nice too.
2 bookings for the Greeks already so they'll be down to 10 men soon.
