They could be in for an absolute bumholing here. Just seen somebody text BBC live text saying that Spurs' bench's shirt numbers add up to 356
Dare I say Sherwood has overplayed a few injuries and left the players out of the squad because it will go to his point about the squad not being strong enough to compete in Europe and/or for top 4. Now that their season is basically done I see he's really stepping up the rhetoric about staying in charge.
A lot of populist rubbish coming from him like questioning the players' commitment after a heavy defeat to Chavs, talking up their response against us (even though they created nothing) to make it seem like it worked, saying the players are "playing for their place" in next season's squad and indicating he would freeze Levy out of transfer dealings (one thing nearly all Spurs fans agree on is that he's an intervening penny-pincher and he cops a massive amount of stick from them). He even pulled out the 'hypothetical' excuse of a 'hypothetical' manager who hasn't had a summer transfer window "He will always have the excuse of, 'well, they're not my players'."

Final whistle just gone, they are 6 points behind us
No, they're shit and we have a game in hand. We know how to finish 4th
Yeah, hope you're right but the chelsea defeat will definitely have a knock on effect as will them turning that game around just now
Beat Swansea and we're 9 points above them which will effectively be 10 given that the goal difference will be at least 20 better. We then have City at home and they have Liverpool at Anfield.....so you would think with 6 games left after that they'd still need to claw that back. Barring Everton away, we've got relatively easy games (admittedly so have they) but we'd need to lose 3 times against some real old cock teams to let it happen. Everton are the more likely threat....8 points behind with a game in hand so if we lose up there in a couple of weeks it could be poopy pants time
Spurs ain't gonna catch us. Everton ain't gonna catch us. Every season those two teams fade away from the top 4 fight whilst we do enough by putting together a run of form at an important time. We'll struggle next two games (think defeat against City and a point at Everton) and then face a piss-easy run-in where we'll win enough games to finish 4th. Both of those teams will drop shedloads of points before this season ends.
