Semi Final - Singing Block - 132

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I think this is a very good idea. Would be nice to actually hear a bit of Gooner noise at Wembley. 8)

Shouldn't need to do it but hope that it works and the club can see the benefit of getting likeminded fans together to create some atmosphere.

well if it's anything like block 5 & 6 at the grove I can see it being quite the cauldron of noise

It's an FA CUP Semi Final and tickets are only available to those apparently most ardent of supporters, in which case why the fuck do you need to organise a singing section. If any of you *word censored* turn up and don't sing then you should be fucking shot and then have engraved on your headstones "Silent supporter, fucking disgrace"

Good idea. Although you'd hope most blocks would be singing in a Wembley FA Cup semi.

Excellent idea, the blocks quoted are behind the goal which for every wembley game i've been to, is where then most noisy gooners are anyway. I will be applying on monday so hopefully get tickets near or in the singing section. The good thing about this idea is you can always book blocks 134 or 135 if these are not available.

Also what about drinking venues, red action organised something in a wetherspoons on the finchley road for the brum cup final. Is the same thing going to happen or are we just going to swamp any bar at wembley.

For the first time this season I left it to a mate to book the tickets so he went out of his way to get us tickets near Red Action....section 137! How the fuck is that near...it's right in the bloody corner :banghead: !

Fingers crossed we'll get to the final and I'm booking that!!

Anyone who went to the league cup final v Birmingham must realise that we need to have something organised to generate an atmosphere there! Very sterile on that day! Cannot understand why anyone bothers going if they aren't going to join in the singing...Felt like that when I was 15 and 51...!!

In an ideal world, all fans going to the match would be fully motivated and ready to get involved in contributing to the atmosphere.

But this ain't an ideal world, so it's best to get all the people who want to get involved into the same areas.

I was at the Birmingham game and only 2 blocks down from the singing crowd... out of all the people in our block there was me ..my 6 yo... and a Chinese bloke 8 ..10 rows in front that actually got involved...

Made sure not to make that mistake again...just hope the 42000 crowd will have a decent amount who want to cheer on and support the team...

I sat down the side for the semi vs chelski a few seasons back. It was embarrassing seeing soo many gooners putting in the same effort that adebayor did on the pitch ie sweet fa. For the brum cup final we where drinking all afternoon in the finchley road with red action and decided to leave a bit early to soak up the wembley atmosphere, only to be greeted by middle class yuppies drinking coffee in the stadium. I mean ffs, if you cant get worked up about big games dont bother coming, fuck off to wimbledon or lords which is probably more your scene!
