Chavski match thread.
Re: Chavski match thread.
Had a great day last week against spurs but unfortunately the win glossed over what was a poor performance. I had a feeling we'd get found out again by Mourinho but not in this way. Thank God I couldnt make the game today although its probably more painful watching on the TV.
Can hear the travelling gooners singing 49 undefeated. Rings a little hollow today but fair play to them. Best away support in the league without a doubt. Pity Wenger wasnt as good a manager as our away support.
Was watching all the plaudits about Wengers 1000th game. Ex players, journos, David Dein, every body was lining up to praise Wenger. But it was all shit about what he did fuckin 10, 15, 17 years ago.
Singlehandedly ruined chance after chance after opportunity for silverware. And I mean singlehandedly. Not the board, not the owner, not the refs, not the meeja. Only Wenger and Wenger alone.

I haven't seen the 4th goal yet (cos I still working) but tbh I would rather the chavs pressed on looking for more goals than playing out a tepid 45 minutes just strolling about - 4-0 is a hammering and there is no getting away from that regardless, so maybe it would be better for them to score a couple more just to intensify the pressure on wenker and the players
Re: Chavski match thread.
but why aren't they singing Wenker out,its beyond me,if I was there id march on to the pitch and kick him in the nut sackclockender1 wrote:flam and jenko on.
i don't remember these big losses under any other manager.
nice to see our away support still singing. poor buggers.
Re: Chavski match thread.
The ref wasn't giving the pen and the linesman didn't give it. So who gave it ? The fourth official ? Are they even allowed get involved ?
Sorry for all the questions

Dein was talking about how he revolutionised the game and players diets etc, was a big factor behind the stadium move blah blah blah......yes we all know that because the same things were said in 1998 and 2004.
The excuse for the past 9 years of failure is supposedly entirely down to City and Chelsea's money and gets glossed over

Re: Chavski match thread - pixx off Wenger
The only reason we were up there ie 1st earlier in the season was pretty much like, well, Tim Henman getting a good run against Andy Murray in the first set - if ever they had got to play each other. Basically it's 4th at best that we could achieve with this 'crop' and with this 'out of date' and soooo predictable 'manager'. Get the banners out - yes - for the semi, with all the shxxe scores emblazoned on them to remind him how shxte he is now

I feared this would happen. Chelsea are probably the best team in the league but what this surely proves beyond doubt is that NO progress has been made this season. We are at exactly the same level as last year. Yes we might win the FA Cup, but as Wenger himself has said frequently ov the last trophy less decade, the FA Cup is not a big thing anymore. I'm not one of those who considers Wenger totally useless - for the most part were still punching around roundabouts where we should be (minus a domestic cup or two). However, Wenger hasn't got more than a few seasons left in football anyway.
Win the FA Cup as a small consolation prize for him for the last decade of being outspent - and on occasions outthought - and then get a new man in for next season.

Twatter was like comedy central at half time, fans blaming everyone, but Wenger, if we lose 10-0, it will just be an off day to most of them.

This is my point too - do you have to sit there without complaining now to be a good fan ? Sitting/standing at these games and refusing to lay the blame where it should be (and I include the players in that) is simply providing oxygen to a flame that should have been extinguished years ago

Re: Chavski match thread.
Wenker is our Brian Clough,i wonder if forest fans were told 'be careful what you wish for' when their fortunes started to dip,i bet they weren't glad they stuck with him when he got them relegated.please just jog on Wenker ,nothing could ever be as bad as this surely??

Definition of insanity - doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome
