Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
I really don't think he is going to sign now.
He might be stubborn but he is not stupid and even he must realise that the game is up now.
If he does sign then there must be protests at every game because this just cannot be allowed to continue any longer.

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
That really Must be about the worst performance in the Wenger era, didnt really look like scoring apart from Girouds first few minute shot. Yet again the ball gets gifted by TR7, Arteta Ox, and Wilshere or Ozil when not injured.
We are really lacking the pace that the top 3 teams have- Theo is well missed, but we knew he was missing in the transfer window and did nothing at all to sort that out. The Ox has pace Rosicky too but thats it, we just are not good enough
No one can justify the managers performance this season, and no other PL club would keep him in place. The transfer debacles, massive losses, lack of significant progress, zip failures for a very wealthy man its all very x6 depressing.
IF we win the fA Cup then hopefully AW has the let out of going on a relative high, otherwise it is bound to get dirty. Clearly many Gooners love him for what he has done in the past, many see the constant failing as reason for extreme rudeness- hence sadly Gooner vs Gooner- its bloody sad.
However vitriol and especially rudeness (as opposed to canny or relatively jovial digs) from us on here wont get him out, it just winds up those who study games less than many of us- The banner wherever it was now was a good idea, it puts thoughts into peoples minds and may help at last make that change that our great club need.
Did anyone see the paper banner at the match today something about "In Arsene we trust" no no girls holding it, but v embarrassing

Now I'm at the stage where EVEN if we win the FA Cup (and we'll probably fuck that up) I'd still not want him to stay. If he signs the contract I'm fucking done with this club.

there is actually a paragraph commenting on the title race.
Wenger says "it leaves it in a very bad situation"![]()

I would have more respect for Wenger and the club if they could just come out and say that we are now out of the title race and concentrating on securing 4th place (which has of course been the goal all along anyway)

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
One reason I think Wenger will step down is because of his comments before the recent Bayern Munich game in which he alluded to a growing divide at the top of the European game, an acknowledgement that maybe he is beginning to realise that he will never win his holy grail - the European Cup.
Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
Mathematically maybe, but realistically we were never ever gonna win it,I cannot believe anyone thought we could.afcforever wrote:Up until today yes. Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
Arsenal were never going to win the league, mainly because we have Wonga in charge, but also with just Giroud up front. The title winners ALWAYS score lots of goals, we don't. That's why Liverpool could win it, City could win it and Chelsea could win it.....Chelsea don't have great strikers but score loads from midfield (3 of their midfielders have scored 29 league goals between them) and Chelsea are less likely to concede goals than the others because of Maureenio's tactical ability.
There is every chance Arsenal will not win the FA cup because this squad of ours has been brought up on failure, excuses and a lack of bottle.

Not sure but I think Luis Suarez's fat brother is one of the blokes holding the banner.falkirk goon wrote:Pair of bawhumsTurnipMasher wrote:Natural Born Gooner wrote:Theoperator wrote:Did anyone see the paper banner at the match today something about "In Arsene we trust" no no girls holding it, but v embarrassing
