We battered them...+ our fans were incredible

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We battered them...+ our fans were incredible

Post by lincs123 »

Just got back from the game. we were outstanding today. so for all you people who start having a go piss off. we were brilliant and should have won.

i also wanna say a massive shout out to the arsenal fans at the end of the game. we stayed behind for 20 mins (stadium completely empty apart from away end) singing 'we love you arsenal'. i lost my voice, its was incredible.

we will win the title next year

Piss off because you say so or do you have anything to justify that comment credibly?

the reason as i say piss off is because i get back and read people having a go at arsenal etc. anyone who was at the game will know how good we played. considering we had no sagna, flamini or rosicky we outplayed manure for most of the game. we have such a bright future. our time will come and we will win the league...

wembley gooner...it was amazing. the ground was completely empty and the arsenal section still had 1000 or so arsenal fans singing. i was grabbed by a steward and forced out of the ground. :)

So blowing a five point lead and a winning position with five minutes to go in the CL doesn't matter?

We can just piss off as obviously all has been well the last two months and I am trapped in some kinda personal nightmare?

we all know we should have won today,, and the support came across brilliant all game

but dont tell people to piss off just because ye stayed behind and sung

we are pissed off because our best chance in 4 years of winning the league went up in smoke because our manager thought our squad was
1) good enough,, it wasnt
2) big enough,, it wasnt
3) eboue better the walcott,, he's not
4) lehmann dropped
5) senderos not good enough

thats why people are pissed off

No I will say what I fucking like as mine is not only a valid opinion but one based on facts ie results!

I am behinf the team more than you know thank you so before we start can we kleave the "Im a bigger fan than you" tosh elsewhere!

I do appreciate the football we play, at times we are incedible!

But as with our style of football that is so pleasing on the eye there has been no end product!

If beauty and grace won you leagues we would win hands down! However that only wins you Dancing on Ice on a Saturday night!

Nobody is saying to go back to the GG days but there is a compromise and if we played ugly more when leading we would still be in the hunt!

Absolutely spot on there Gus.

One of the things I love about this forum is you can come out with your own opinion and be challenged on it. Occasionally you may find a differing thought from yours and consider it. It doesn't mean you agree but as long as we're all gooners we can certainly appreciate each others feelings. Challenging thoughts and opinions is one of the only things that keeps me around this place.

But I wouldn't Kleave someone over it.

Our fans were incredible...
I didn't stay for the extra 20 minutes because i dind't know we would do that..

From now on we should make our players as proud of us as we are of them...no more of 'the libary factor'.

Yes mate there is enormous potential but potential wins you fuck all which is blatantly obvious this season!

What matters is we learn from it and build on it!

It does nobody any good at all to believe that this seasons collapse was just down to luck and that we should all be proud!

There are serious lessons to be learned!

Lincs123, if you watch the post match analysis on Sky Sports you can see you lot behind Jamie Redknapp (good job Aliaidiaidiere wasnt playing) jumping up and down and twirling scarves. 8)
