Re: Swansea match thread
Does anybody else think Gnabry should have started tonight? I feel sorry for him, whilst I don't want to see youth players playing every week (unless they really deserve it) he played well against Stoke and was excellent at Swansea then didn't get a look in for months. Again he was superb against Spurs in the cup and then back into the shadows.
We're playing 5 central midfielders tonight. Play Rosicky or Cazorla central, drop Arteta or Flamini (the former imo) and play Gnabry out wide. We'd damn sure look less pedestrian with him involved and he offers something different to this incessant sideways passing 25+ yards out from goal. This line-up is so easy to defend against.

You are trying to think and analyse it too much - just pick 11 players and let them play where they like ffs (arsene wenker master tactician)

You just know that old Wankbox himself would have given them a little chat about having the chance to go out and correct the 'mistake' of Saturday when every other decent manager would have made changes and ripped them to shreds. The fact of the matter is that this lot know there is fuck all else at the club, that the squad is wafer thin and weak so unless they get inured or fall down a hole, they'll get a game every week. There's no pressure and no fear for them.gp543 wrote:Gnabry should have started instead of Arteta. Chavs took a year off extension, Swansea could another few months, Shitty a year as well and then we win FA cup and farewell, mr. Arsene!

Re: Swansea match thread
One day at training, when OG is playing with his back to goal the entire time, some of the lads should pick up the net and move it ten yards left. Odds on he wouldn't even notice!
