The question of a poll on Arsenal's future with or without Wenger would only serve to frustrate many on here. I believe the majority would want Wenger to stay. Sadly that is what I would see as the state of play. On another "Arsenal " site today the guy who has designed the banner for Wembley is being questioned about his motivation and questioned as to whether he is a "real" fan. To me he must be a real fan, maybe a bit off the wall, but a real passionate supporter.
There are no more avenues of excuse for Wenger, there are no more Summers or Januarys of spin and lies. There can be no more of the malaise that has saw a club with 38,00 seats unbeaten in a season turning into a club with 60,000 seats being also rans. Whatever it takes to make Arsenal competitive must happen , and that can only begin with Arsene Wenger leaving the club soon as possible but no later than Monday May 19th hopefully with The FA Cup in the trophy cabinet.
But as long as people chose to believe in this man then he will have solace and a hiding place , I am being very careful for wishing that Arsene Wenger leaves my club.

Just got an email from BSM about some boat party. Had a quick glance on their website and absolutely nothing on there re the single-biggest issue facing the club: the manager. They haven't just got splinters from sitting on the fence, they've got a fencepost embedded deep in their colon. They'll have to make sure there's enough space for the elephant to fit in the room next time they ask to meet with Gazidis or whoever.

After we beat Everton and City lost at home to Wigan I was more buzzing than I can remember at any time in the past few years, certainly since the first 5-2 against the Scum. After last night I feel dreadful - our club is facing a huge crossroads and seeing as they haven't got the stones to make the right decision we are reliant on a turkey voting for Christmas and the egotistical Wenger to admit he has been talking shit and doing shit for years and to turn down the chance to trousers probably 25 mil over the next 3 years. If he signs it will wipe the next 3 years of this football club out and I can't imagine how it will feel if that happens. I didn't comment on the poll on the other thread because winning trophies isn't comparable with anything else and I'm desperate for some silverware after all these years. But would the pain of losing the FA Cup final or the pain of Wenger announcing a new deal be worse? The latter for me, by a long long long way. I love football and I love this club and I can't face knowing we are in for the same shit over the next 3 years with no way out.

Spot on mate. I'll be at the demo tomorrow but you just know it will be all anti-board, and Wenger will get away with it yet again. And as soon as it's obvious that's the case, I'm off.

As you say, the single biggest issue at the club and the BSM have no opinion. Only one thing worse than that, and that's if they try and jump on the bandwagon when it looks like Wenger is properly on his way out.

This one I think is a good idea and should be repeated for every home match until the end of the season (or until Wenger goes)

I didn't hear about the Directors entrance protest - any details ?

so there appears to be 2 separate protests planned for Saturday - one guy bringing in an EIE banner (not sure about that but I guess it is worth trying) and another protest planned for outside the Directors entrance before the game.
This one I think is a good idea and should be repeated for every home match until the end of the season (or until Wenger goes)

Is the protest against the board or wenker ?? For me this needs to be clearly defined because otherwise it will be perceived as being against the board. If the board are the intended targets then they can shove their protest up their arse because target number 1 has to be the man who is charged with preparing the team and the simple fact is that, for the players that he currently has at his disposal (ignore the injured players), this team is not performing to their level and he must pay the price for that

To the SIF sympathisers its mutually exclusive. According to most of them our shit predicament is entirely the board's fault for failing to give "help".

The sort of "help" SIF needs can only be found at a nursing home if you ask me.

My vote goes to falkirk goon's simple but effective 'le bumhole'......I don't know why but I chuckle every time I read. Perhaps because there are certain words that sound better in a Scottish accent and that would be one of them along with 'pish' and 'murder'
