SATURDAY'S PRE-MATCH DEMO...Will you be there?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I suggested after the villa shambles about us getting together and chipping in for a banner to be flown behind a plane over the emirates on match day,but as per nothing came of it,lots of views about logistics etc etc, rumour has it Utd supporters are doing just this at the weekend to let moyes know hes not wanted, this is the problem we as Arsenal supporters are to scared/conservative/quiet/gay to kick up a fuss and let the board and Le Bumhole know how we feel whereas UTD supporters will do,thats why they will get what they want as do fans of other team and why we have to put up with the cancer that is rotting AFC,WE MUST MAKE A STAND NOW :barscarf:

Haha quality Simon! Been out of the loop today, is this a proper protest organised by a fan group and if so what are the aims?

nope. no groups, just ordinary pissed off fans from twitter etc.

no aims, actions or agendas to dither over like You Know Who, just "wenger Out, Gazidis out"

I shall be attending...as far as I can tell its protest outside and support the team inside, so shouldn't affect the players.

I think its the perfect match to do it...if we then (as expected) lose it would have more impact/exposure then before a match we then go on to win.
Everyone who is going to the match and wants change should attend before he signs another contract and its too late and 3 more years of the same old shit.
I'm not happy about leaving the pub early but it beats staying there and moaning about everything that is happening at the club...hopefully if enough turn up the AKBs will at least know they haven't got it all there own way...I feel the tide is turning.

This is nearly as bad as the guy who is planning to protest with his little banner at Wembley, about Arsenal not winning a trophy, at a cup semi-final - he has some nice stickers as well!! Woah!

I understand views against Wenger, i buy into a lot of them, im no sheep - but honestly? All these protests just get laughed off by the majority of fans from both sides - put the same energy into supporting the team (not wenger) for 90 minutes, do something good with your time.

Saturday is going to a paddlin, we all know that, but its not the game to stick the boot in.

So as regards to the mis-management of the club, are the fans meant to just sit there and be happy with their lot BDB ? You see I can never understand the opinions where fans shouldnt protest - are we supposed to allow the club take the piss for ever and a day ? Nowadays we are told that it is all about the "customer experience" and we are certainly treated no better than customers, so is there another business type in this world that could fleece their fans/customers and still expect them to keep coming back and never complain ??
Arsenal should be fucking grateful we are so well behaved and patient,i can think of many other clubs around Europe who would have made their views well know 5 years ago, probably involving trouble at games,I wish our fans would grow some bollocks, hound these c*nts out,its embarrassing how we have tolerated it.They know football is a totally different business type to normal companies because of the loyalty issues but it dont mean they can mug off their "customers".

thats always been our reputation and we should be proud of that.

unfortunately that's also produced the apathy too.

imho a big protest before teh game on saturday after another heavy loss and follow up poor showing, puts a hell of a lot of pressure on Gazidis and Wenger if there's another big loss or any loss on Saturday.

if people don't take this chance they'll regret it next season i reckon.

True but they were more board orientated...the feeling I get is this will be very much directed at wenger as well...the press will lap it up.
