Re: Victims FC to win the League, or who else will?
We were 8 points clear of Liverpool before the match at Anfield.

But since then there has been "exceptional circumstances" (on more than 1 occasion) and we have shown great mental strength by only losing lightly to Bayern Munich, also Sanogo has shown imaginary domination in virtually all the games he has played in.
Overall, I believe that we are only 1 or 2 percent away and of course we have Diaby to come back, this squad is ready to win trophies and of course buying players better than you already have is an impossible task that we work 24 hours a day on.

Sky commentator Martin Tyler found safe and well half way up Brendan Rodgers' arse..what a crawling
he is..first fifteen minutes how much did he quote Rodgers as if was some sort of modern day prophet ?
Still believe City will win it , but Liverpool have so much going for them in terms of momentum , kind of reminds me of our 1998 run to the title.

They'll win it. Fucking gutted.
Re: Victims FC to win the League, or who else will?
I said all along that we should have put out the ladies team against citeeh so that we could stop the other two cuntish teams from winning it

Re: Victims FC to win the League, or who else will?
If they win it it will be more pressure on Wenger. Those who say finishing fourth is about where we should be given realtive finances, well what about Liverpool? If 4th was okay behind Manyoo and the two petro-dollar doped teams then what about if mayoo are out of that equation? Is fourth still okay?
How can Liverpool leap-frog us? Have they had an injection of petro-dollars?
If City ot Chelsea win it, well big surprise. Big-big money works when it comes to winning titles and they have both won titles in recent years so nothing new. Wenger vindicated. When manyoo win the title, so what? Another one on their big pile. Biggest name in the world, every other asian foorball fan supports them. But Liverpool? They haven't won it since well before Wenger arrived. What is Rodgers doing that Wenger isn't?
Liverpool winning the title raises big questions about Wenger and his implicit excuse for not winning the title these past 10 years. If they do win it, maybe it'll increase the likelihood that he will walk.

Anybody who needs the victims to win it so that questions about wenkers performance can be justified, really wont accept those questions anyway
Already on here people are citing the lack of injuries that the scousers have had as a reason for their great season - the victims have won it because they have a world class striker and a very good back up striker plus they also have played with no fear or respect to those teams with money. They havent laid down and moaned about how they cant compete and it is amazing what a bit of courage/guts can do for a team
All that being said, I dont want the victims to win it - yes it is one of the many scenario's that I would accept if it meant that wenker will leave, but seeing as it is not likely to have an effect on wenkers future, then I dont want the c*nts to win it

Re: Victims FC to win the League, or who else will?
I understand the rationale but the "it'll put pressure on Wenger" talk is largely folly. There is no pressure from above to win trophies or do anything more than finish 4th. Despite occasional bouts of grumbling the fans' majority view on Wenger is supportive. It is. Even the media will only keep up a campaign of scrutiny for a few weeks at most before a few decent results has them rushing to mock his doubters.
In his head nothing will change his mind that 4th represents a job well done. In response to Liverpool winning the league he would no doubt point out that they'll only played 42 games this season and have been lucky with injuries before highlighting that United's demise from champions to also-rans proves what a difficult task maintaining top 4 is and point to Spurs as an example that spending a shedload of money doesn't guarantee it.
It is so painful but the reality is that he will decide when he leaves, not one other person or even group. And tbh I'm not even sure that rising levels of criticism make that more likely, if anything I think they could strengthen his resolve, appeal to his stubbornness and his ego will not let him walk away if he thinks people think he's quitting because he's not being successful.

You are right. His stubborness is likely to make him continue his methods of failure until he dies.northbank123 wrote:I understand the rationale but the "it'll put pressure on Wenger" talk is largely folly. It's just us fans that have to keep chewing on the shit sandwich (baguette de merde) that this frenchman keeps on serving up.

Re: Victims FC to win the League, or who else will?
Honestly, anyone that thinks anything happening outside the club (or inside for that matter!) will put pressure on Wenger obviously hasn't been awake for the last 7 or 8 years. Arsene Wenger runs Arsenal FC. From top to bottom. He will do what he likes, when he likes, and he will stay as long as he likes.
