As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The annual virtual trophy parade for 4th,were we fucking embarrass ourselves by celebrating more than the actual team who win's the league, despite finishing 8 points behind them,it makes me fucking cringe,
How quick we are to forget our performance against them in the Cup due our recent form. Ramsey would be a boost if he's truly fit, and not Arsenal medical team "fit".

People completely take it completely for granted because its we've had CL football for 16 years. I understand its not a trophy but I find it incredible that few gooners seem proud of our record of qualifying for the champions league.
Yeah but where IS the money for all the 16 years playing it, and for all too many years now we are out in the last 16, sorry I just dont buy it anymore- we need to aim higher than squeezing into the top 4 then squeezing more money from fans

Not going to happen. Even if his form hadn't dipped before the injury it would be a massive ask to expect a box-to-box central midfielder to hit the ground running after over 3 months out. Plus I personally think that Ramsey is somebody who thrives when we are playing well rather than being a player who will pick us up when we're playing badly. That's not a shot at his attitude, just an observation of his playing style.

Teams are DESPEARTE to have what we have
Have we ever won it?
Have we ever looked like winning it bar 2006?
Haven't we only made the semi-finals twice (including 2006)?
Why should we be proud/ecstatic about qualifying for a competition we have no intention/realistic chance of winning?
We're just there to rake in the dough and make up numbers - it lends credence to our false stature of being a "big" club.

You forgot that it also enables us to sign Sanogo and Kallstrom on the back of it as no way in earth would they have come otherwise
We have the ability to sign far more decent players than the crap we've bought of late. This has never been put to the test because we've never properly bid for a decent player.

i'm in agreement with you over this one. Living in hope that something miraculous happens and he can provide some magic like we saw at the start of the season. Oh to be an optimist!
