As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Despite occasional bouts of grumbling the fans' majority view on Wenger is supportive. It is. Even the media will only keep up a campaign of scrutiny for a few weeks at most before a few decent results has them rushing to mock his doubters.
In his head nothing will change his mind that 4th represents a job well done. In response to Liverpool winning the league he would no doubt point out that they'll only played 42 games this season and have been lucky with injuries before highlighting that United's demise from champions to also-rans proves what a difficult task maintaining top 4 is and point to Spurs as an example that spending a shedload of money doesn't guarantee it.
It is so painful but the reality is that he will decide when he leaves, not one other person or even group. And tbh I'm not even sure that rising levels of criticism make that more likely, if anything I think they could strengthen his resolve, appeal to his stubbornness and his ego will not let him walk away if he thinks people think he's quitting because he's not being successful.
You are right. His stubborness is likely to make him continue his methods of failure until he dies.
It's just us fans that have to keep chewing on the shit sandwich (baguette de merde) that this frenchman keeps on serving up.
The one thing he might take from Liverpool winning the league is more of an appreciation of quality, pacey strikers. Although I wouldn't bank on it and it would be more than wiped out by the strengthening of his belief that the way to beat Chavs and Citeh is through free-flowing, attacking football.
I actually think City and Chelsea should both win there. For all Liverpool's confident attacking at the moment they have been smashing teams in disarray and still looking shaky at the back. Imo City need to go there and play - not sure if Aguero will be back but even if not I think they are a better team going forwards, I just think they're too inhibitious and frankly too lazy at times. I don't think Pellegrini has shed the negativity of Mancini's reign, and it showed on Sat. As for Chelsea I don't think Mourinho's reluctant approach to a boring point (as with visits to us and United) will be an option, but Chelsea have enough about them defensively to commit a little more attacking-wise and the pace their attacking midfielders have should make utter mincemeat of Liverpool who will set up attacking. But for all Mourinho's brilliance (and self-congratulation) they have dropped miles too many points on the road and have nearly scuppered their chances with two dire away results on the bounce.
For us United supporters, Liverpool winning the league would be dreadful. But who would you rather win the league? Chelsea out of the question and I think Arsenal fans hate City, am I right or far off the mark?
I think you'll find most want to City to win. We have no issues with City, what have they done for us? Give us 25M for Ade, 16M for Kolo.
A Liverpool PL win will be rammed down the country's throats and Chelsea have Jose, Terry and host of other stars in it.
But currently I'm more concerned that Spin Meister Gnr Arsene Wenger will spin his way into another 2 year contract. So I pay top dollar to watch Sanogo move up the pay scale at arsenal.
I think I'm the only one on here who wouldn't mind if they did. Not because of any affection, but because it would debunk another of Wenger's go-to-crutches re financial doping.
If Chelsea/City win then Wenger & his acolytes have ready-made excuses as to our continuous failure.
citeeh all the way for me - I have no real gripes with citeeh but do not want to listen to scouse gloating and I hate those pikey chavs b*stards with a vengence
