Didn't think PSG were anyway fantastic, they were better than Chelsea though. Funny how after the recent 6-0 Mourinho was portraying himself as a genius, strutting down the tunnel two minutes from the end, showing little respect to the opposition bench etc, two losses since and it's all down to the players.
Cavani was a major disappointment , he was playing out of position but his touch at times was disastrous. Chelsea can do it , but don't think they will.

I thought PSG were pretty dreadful, they reminded me a lot of us, except with a brilliant forward line who can get them out of jail. Their midfield gave the ball away in dangerous positions on countless occasions, but Chelsea weren't up to the task of capitalizing on it.

I can see them going through on away goals.

I suggested before the draw for the quarters that, outside of manure, psg would be the best draw a club could get. People talk them up because they are doing well in a shit league where their players dont need to be anywhere near sharp enough to be facing the best players in the world. People talk up ibrahimovic like he is one of the top players in the world but he really isnt - he was bombed out of barca after 1 season and for me he is just a better version of barbietov.....in other words all the skill in the world but a lazy c*nt into the bargain

Still think that the chavs will go though

My thoughts as well and it wouldn't surprise me if Chelsea take more advantage of that in the return and give them the sort of tonking they gave us, especially if the big-nosed fella (couldn't be bothered to look up the proper spelling) isn't available to perhaps produce some brilliance for PSG.

I know I'm in the minority but I've never rated Cavani that highly and I can't see him replicating the kind of individual match-winning performance that the former occasionally does, to help PSG over the line. I live in hope that they get knocked out but in truth believe that, despite trailing, Chelsea will still go through. :banghead: :banghead:

Chavs won't make it through. Chelsea were awful, apart pressing well, (works well against Arsenal) they offered nothing and it was only a stupid Thiago tackle that let them back in.

It's PSG not Napoli. Not to mention Chelsea's confidence is not good. Eto'o won't be fit so it's hapless Torres or Schurrle.

PSG only mistake was allowing themselves to be pressed and nearly tackled in their own half. Once they got it to their wingers Chelsea we panicking.

Lavezzi-Cavani-Lucas should do enough to keep Chelsea back.

Falcao is miles the better striker than Cavani.

As far as their midfield was concerned, Motta was entirely blameless for their f**k ups, the less said about Moratti the good as he was going forward, he was a liability because he kept losing the ball when players were committed in attack........sound familiar.

Flamini should start ignoring AW's instructions and go back to the tactical discipline of Milan because that's what Motta was doing all night, mopping up for Verrati and to a lesser extent Matuidi.

Chavs will go through but only just, the only hope we have is that Blanc just thinks Tuesday is a good day for some 19 century football, drop Verrati for Cabaye and they have a good chance.
