Toffees (A) - Top 4 Trophy, Six Pointer Match Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

To be fair it's too much to expect Arsenal to compete with Everton with their financial doping and oligarch owner.

So you're saying we conceded from our own free kick in the middle of the pitch and it was the refs fault for not booking the player?
No what I said was that If the ref had booked him which he should have then that passage of play would never had happened, not hard to understand is it really
Nope, still not with you I'm afraid. Could Lukaka dribbling through half our midfield and defence also been stopped by the ref?

Can anyone ever imagine Giroud scoring a goal like that?

This is utterly embarrassing. Monreal is so terrified of Lukaku getting in behind that he gave him a full 25 yards and then conspires with the rest of the defence to back off so far that he can get into the box without even beating a man. We look every bit as spineless and clueless as our manager.

2-0

The problem I have here isn't necessarily the performance, but it's the fact that Wenger has absolutely no answer for it. It's clear that a change needs to be changed in terms of our approach and probably also the 11 that are on the pitch. Problem is, Wenger hasn't a clue how to affect the game.

Fifteen or so years ago, Wenger had a fresh, modern take on the game. Now he's getting left way behind. It's all well and good opting for stability in your management, but if you've got someone in charge who doesn't evolve with the times, you're shooting yourself in the foot.

Arteta had a hand in that goal with a poor touch then just gave it away again, I like the guy and have admired him as a player but he is past it at this level I think.

I think I should have gone to the gym.....

Fucking spineless....lost for words. I want to win the FA Cup for us fans, nothing else. Sick to death of this. Bottly, lightweight @@@@s and a worn out, passed sell by date shadow of a ''manager''. This is Everton ffs...they have no money but a manager who gets modern day football....we have.....

It's a good job our remaining games look relatively easy because we are playing absolute mince at present.
