Toffees (A) - Top 4 Trophy, Six Pointer Match Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Take Flamini and Caz off and put on Rambo and Oxlade. We need a bit of pace.

What pissed me off most was when they cut to the bench and our useless coaching staff are packed in like sardines, all with grim faces except Wenger who is waving his arms and moaning about something to Bould who just nods like a fucking mute simpleton.

And when will the media fucking realise that it's not a coincidence that all these teams put in their performance of the season against us? Despite their annual collective wankfest over Everton, they're not fucking title contenders and we're just making them look that good. Again.

We're just passing the ball around until eventually we get frustrated enough for one of our full-backs (who are both shit crosses) to tump a ball into the box hoping that it somehow reaches the one player in there and that if so he doesn't fluff his lines as usual.

Meanwhile Everton are happy to get men back behind the ball, let us commit everyone (including both full-backs forward) and then stream forward if they nick it off us. We could get knocked for 5 again today, easily.
As soon as we realise we will finish above the Y's and we crash out of the title race.

pace out of the team = inept. Everybody is using the same tactics against us :(

still so many will blame injuries, season after season after season.

How comes we are constantly out numbered at the back, out numbered in midfield but have no body in the opposing penalty area.

Wenger has us playing with a formation and approach that causes no attacking threat and also offers no defensive fortitude whatsoever.

For the long term benefit of this club, the statistical facts need to be recognised.. The resources this manager has had is enormous, but he has not managed to outperform. In fact, the evidence is clear, the team is getting worse relative to other teams.

Wenger has to go, and it will not be the board that initiates this. The fans have to do something - recognise a balanced argument.

We will possibly be in the wilderness for a year or so, but some of us are not surprised by the last 5 years aNd enoughs enough.

It is up to us to initiate the change
