PROTEST At Reading Game! - ARRIVE 30 MINS AFTER KICK OFF!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I don't think there's any chance of that! I can see this becoming a very popular thread...

I wouldn't suggest a 'Wenger Out' style protest etc but it's about time the Manager & Board understood the anger of a huge number of fans at the way the club have allowed the promise of a successful season to be thrown away so easily when the resources were there to reinforce a final push but simply stubborness allowed the opportunity to slip.
It would be a tremendous kick up the backside the club needs if it was to see the team run out to a quarter full stadium for kick off with the remaining thousands of fans unenthusiastically turning up half an hour late. The club take Arsenal fans support for granted & continued apathy will only allow that attitude to flourish ever more.
I say NO Fuck off bollocks your a *word censored*

here's an alternative form of protest... leave your seat 10 mins before half time. then not get back to it until 5 minutes after the interval... then leave 10 minutes before the final whistle.

now that would be seriously revolutionary

I personally think the creator of this thread should die horribly while I watch

Aint this just a typical reaction of one low life, know nothing, gutter snipes that exist in the wonderful world that is Arsenal

Better Idea....lets all sing along the whole game to recognise that despite being disapointed that we could have done better we are proud of a team who are currently 3rd and will finish 2nd in the toughest league in Europe and were in the top 8 in the best club comp in the world.

Course I am gutted but lets sing up for the arsenal!

If we all sung up (and I know the majority of this forum do anyway) I wonder if we would have won more points at the emirates this season aka 12th man???? Enough maybe even to still be in with a chance at the prem....a couple of games off the top of my head...Brum and Boro!

I am not going to bully him but what a flucking idiot!

The strange thing is now the title and the CL are gone and the pressure is off the fans will get behind the team now that its too late. But we still have the good old late arrivals and early leavers them crunts will never change

Too right. The amount of times I've had mates texting me saying we're loud away, well, there's been plenty. But at home its like a morgue at times.

Whilst I am not going to subscribe to the original proposition, it will be interesting to see the REAL attendence on Saturday.

Not the announced '60,105' as it always is. But the actual numbers there. My guess is that there will be far more empty seats than otherwise. It's Reading - hardly the greatest draw in the world, no disrespect to Mr. Coppell's boys - and it's not even the last home game of the season, which many always make the effort to see.

There is a sense - quite a big sense in fact - in which the Club take the Fans for granted.

Yes I know they always say how much they think of us but the reality is otherwise - and to an extent always has been and always will be.

But if we start next season like we've finished this one it won't be long before related ideas to the original post become more than just an isolated wind up.

As I and others have said elsewhere; this closed season is Wenger's most crucial yet. He's got no room at all to get it wrong.

What is the matter with you ?! .................

I have been a passionate fan for 35 years & always will be but that doesn't we have to blindly accept everything without protest. A fantastic opportunity has been allowed to slip by the club this season simply because the manager wouldn't spend money & add strong experience to the squad which was clearly missing. Ridiculously an excellent player Diarra was allowed to leave without being replaced when the squad was already threadbare.
Moving to the Emirates was meant to allow the club to compete financially at the top level but we are not doing so. Why bother moving from Highbury then ?!
Fans pay a fortune to be entitled to show disenchantment.
To be a loyal fan doesn't mean you have to be a nodding dog !
