Back in the period between 1997 and 2005 when The Arsenal and the Manc Filth ( ) fought it out for domination, who would have thought that less than a decade later both clubs would be scrapping it out outside the top 4 in the PL? People bemoan the Europa League but I would beg to differ, that if we had a new manager coming in with fresh ideas it would actually be a good chance to build some European experience under the radar of the CL. Lets assume it was a younger manager like a Martinez without European experience......it would be a great way to start. A competition we'd have a far greater chance of winning and in the early rounds could probably rotate the squad more than the CL games

I'm so fucking bored with the CL its untrue and its a competition which serves only to reward owner and manager....so a new manager and a fresh chance to win a trophy would be welcomed by me. We have so many games moved to fucking Sunday or Monday anyway who gives a shit

To be honest, I don't really care who wins the FA Cup now mate. As long as City and Liverpool can't win it, I'm happy enough.

It's like the '80's we either finished 4th or 7th. Over the next 50 years the last 16 years of finishing in the top 4 will be regarded as the most consistent period in our clubs history. I think only ManUre have sustained a top 4 finish as consistently as we have across the major leagues in Europe.

Money will rule from here on in. Whilst we have our owners and Moyes as manager, we won't achieve fuck all.

But like I said before, we've had our time in the spot light, we've had enough glory to last us a lifetime. My brother-in-law supports Carlisle United and says he'd kill just to see his team play in the Premier League, let alone wins big trophies.

I'll be honest here.....prior to the arrival of GG and then in the early premier league era, I used to almost gain more satisfaction from rival teams losses than I did from our own victories. It was horribly small time and I know that but during those times we were not genuine challengers for the league so I took my enjoyment where I could get it

Nowadays, because of the early GG and early wenker years, I have loftier ambitions for my club - laughing at our rivals is the added bonus for me but these bonuses can only be enjoyed when our own club does not have worries/problems of our own to contend with. Sadly I am in total despair when I think of another two or three years of wenker so your "demise" is of no relevence to me right now (although I would find it amusing of ferguscum was still there during this demise )

Best bit is that spawny Evra scored first but 60secs later he loses Mandzukic 1-1, then he lets Robben cross the ball in, Muller 2-1 then the useless doesn't tackle Robben properly 3-1
