I know it's difficult fellas, but this is meant to be the Wigan match thread, not another Wenger bitching session.

Cos of course there aren't enough threads on here to do that! :D For what it's worth, I am fairly optimistic about this one. I think 50k+ Gooners will drag the team over the line. Need Ox and Ramsey to start though. At least they will understand the importance of the FA cup.

I actually reckon there will be a very tense atmosphere if we haven't taken the lead by half time and you know what I'm glad I'm not going. The atmosphere was poisonous where I was in the last ten minutes at goodison. Hope everyone who is brave enough to travel sings their hearts out and make it like a home game (you know what I mean  )
my prediction is a narrow Arsenal win :barscarf:

I've been looking forward to this game ever since we knocked out Everton 4-1 but the past couple of weeks have sucked the life out of me and I'm actually fearful that the humiliation will continue with a Wembley humbling. My head is still just about telling me we'll win 2-1 but I agree with Henry that a goalless first half and the tension will be unbearable, and we know what happens then......"special circumstances" when one of the pussies at the back commit a glaring error

I have been basically counting down the days since that Everton game but now I'm absolutely dreading it.

Even if we win this match, we still stand a high chance of screwing up in the final

Arsenal U21 4 Man City U21 3.

The only reason I put up that result is Akpom was not even in the squad as far as I am aware. With our strikers all being shite, will the lad get a go against what is after all lower league opposition?

Every time I've seen him he has made a nuiscance of himself to defenders, and he has an eye for goal and right now after watching Giroud on Sunday, I'd prefer even an untried kid who plays his heart out than a seasoned professional that plays like a busted flush for 80mins
