As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
No...they're just remembering this game when a lucky Manure team, admitted by their manager, robbed us after we pissed all over them for most of the game.
Ah come on........ Even your own manager said that he was lucky to win it.
Quote from Fergusmoan
He added: "Arsenal had some great moments, they were brilliant at times. They bossed the first half and we looked nervous at times because of what today meant.
"We know Arsenal are a good team, they are such a good team and it was a big, big day today. It was nervy at times but we managed to come through it.
"They were very unlucky to lose you'd have to say, they gave it their biggest effort of the season and were magnificent, but we've still managed to win the game."
Well, to be fair, the fans did do exactly what was stated here. They stayed and sung long after the end. A great show of support for the lads don't you think? Our players must be pretty low at the moment given all that has happened in the last 6 weeks and something like that could help lift them.
As Spuddy said, simple facts are that hundreds upon hundreds of Gooners stayed and sang for over 20 minutes until we were evicted by the stewards person by person. Unbelievable spirit and passion that I was proud to be a part of, and I would envy any club who showed that kind of support after going through such a traumatic 2 months.
I'm not one of these 'I'll be happy if we don't win trophies but play pretty football' people, I want to win things desperately. But those 20 minutes were a life experience that will forever sit happily in my memory and send shivers down my spine, which is exactly what football is all about.
yeh, was i there singing, but left 10 minutes intoit, wish i had stayed for the 20 minutes now! and another bad thing, there was more blooming mancs on the train than there was gonners on the way back! im defo proud to be a gooner after that support at the end!!
That brought a tear to my eye, just commented on it Kanubayor25 mate, true quality brillinat legend video, I am proud to be a Gooner, even thoug hI think I am the youngest member on this forum at 15 years old and wasn't born for Fairs Cup 1970, Double in 1971, Anfield '89 etc. I am still behind the lads 110 percent. We have some of the best fans in the world, and let all those stupid f*cking muppets say Highbury library crap, we know we have better fans than them, had a little break from this forum and I cried my eyes out last night after all what's happened, so much has gone against us, I took that defeat so hard last night, we were so brave and courageous, it was a mixture of sorrow and anger from me, mostly sorrow because We so desprately tried this season, as the tears flowed down my face I sang Arsenal till I die, And It's Arsenal, We Love You Arsenal We Do, much others, going to the reading and everton games will continue to sing my heart out for the boys, I wish the old Clock End North Bank East Stand And West Stand songs would come back.
