Gooner Wembley mash-up special guests a rugby league team

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

For me the only concern I have for tomorrows game is playing flaps in the goals - no doubt that he has done well when called upon recently but for me he is always just one fcuk up away from a total meltdown and I will be amazed if he goes the rest of this season without making that fcuk up. I was actually one of the last on here to turn against flaps (because I believed that he had/has real potential) but his tendency to make almighty fcuk ups eventually wore me down :( I know that many still blame him for the chavs goal in our last cup semi at Wembley but I will still argue that the pitch was the main reason for that goal as a proper pitch would have seen that ball go through to him as opposed to the irregular bounce when left him in nowhere land

The nearer the game comes, the more focused I am on it - because of the circumstances in and around the club at the mo, I am not looking forward to the game as much as I would usually look forward to an fa cup semi. I suppose it was summed up best earlier in this thread when somebody said that it is a win win scenario for us........win the game and we in the final and have a real chance at winning the thing, but lose and it will turn the atmosphere towards wenker into a real nuclear situation of which I don't believe that he could recover.

Anyway they are a championship side and wont trouble us tomorrow
I don't believe for one minute that we won't fuck it up, that make me a more miserable, pessimistic and anti wenker, than you "Augie gaylord rosetinter"  :barscarf:

by next month they could well be a Premier league side again and they are already more than capable of beating us with their progressive young manager.

Rosler has clearly been watching us and has said:

"I watched the game last Sunday and it was another very impressive lesson from Roberto, tactically how Everton approached the game," said the German.

"Not a lot of people focused on how disciplined and how focused Everton Football Club operated in the first 20-25 minutes without the ball.

"Everybody knows Roberto is focused on ball possession but how well the team worked against the ball at the beginning of the game was very impressive.

"There were good pictures for me to learn from and also take one or two things on board, like I did with Manchester City in the last round."

can you imagine Wenger coming out with anything as constructive as that!! :banghead:

we need to get the first goal otherwise the atmosphere will turn very poisonous, very quickly. I hope it doesn't though, fuck wenger, fuck kroenke, the 11 men in red and white NEED OUR SUPPORT tomorrow and I for one won't be kicking off until the final whistle if we do lose.

Obviously he watched the game with his fingers in his ears as the commentators were wanking thmselves silly about Everton's organisation and pressing as well as everything else to do with the club.

OX, Rosicky and Gibbs apparently clear to play

(doesn't mean that our 30 years in football managerial genius will pick them though)

Kos also meant to be back for Tuesday :D

I'm going on holiday virtually straight after the game, so Mrs SteveO and SteveO Juniors are going to have a lovely flight and holiday with me in tow if There's Only plays our reserves and Comedy Flapper produces one of his Wembley classics

Apparently, there's only one Arsene Wenger. I was quite surprised to find that out.
