West Ham Game (H)

You obviously have just the right ratio of alcohol to blood level which, like me, is making you wildly optimistic about everything. Once we start to sober up in the mid afternoon we can go back to being a couple of miserable bastards again :barscarf:

I think that we are going to win this one as well by 2 goals. I think that the cliff edge was beckoning at the FA Cup Semi-Final, but Wenger will steer the team back to 4th place glory along with a fat new contract.

And I can't wait because the man is a saviour! He told people to eat pasta before a match to maintain energy levels and bought players from ABROAD! 2 more years - 2 more years!! :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

I wish the Man had left a few seasons ago because It's sad to see the success he did bring in the first decade whittled down to bowls of F**king pasta :cussing:

Adrian Durham would be proud. While you're there the Invincibles was a fluke.

The manager may be past his useby date but to denigrate what he did for this club in the past should be beneath some of you, sadly it isn't.

I agree with you, mate - but I think the comment was in jest. I too find it very sad that a man that was one of the greatest managers in world football is now a target of ridicule, but unfortunately he has loaded alot of those guns himself. It is a bit of an easy cheap shot to now denegrate his great (early) achievements and question how much he was responsible for the 2 doubles and the Invincibles and this questioning/denegration is getting more common now. I would say to those people, if it's so easy and the manager isn't a huge part of that success, why have so few managers won doubles and NONE of them gone unbeaten?

Good Lord man - get a grip! It's humour.

Sadly, the man is a self-parody of self-flagellation with his decisions. Maybe history will treat him a little more kindly when the years roll on, but for the immediate future, especially if he renews, he most certainly won't.

I know that the game is kicking off at 7.45pm, not 7.52pm, but anyone know whether there will be a minutes silence before the game? West Ham didn't play at the weekend and so haven't yet had the chance to show their respect, plus it is the actual day of the anniversary...

I think 90 mins silence could the order of the day, if we play like we did on Saturday.

Technically with 5 games left its actually round 5 for this match and not the semi final if we are talking about the 4th place VT

Head says 1-0 to the Murderers. Heart says maybe 1-1 or maybe even a lucky 2-1 to The Arsenal? :?

We'll just about eke out a win here: even though we're playing sh*t and will be fatigued, we should still have too much for an abysmal West Ham at home.

I envision us winning out our remaining league games and pipping Everton to 4th by a couple points, thus rendering the season a success as Wenger will have accomplished our ultimate goal yet again.

I can either see us giving them a hiding, or them pinching it late on. A nice rare early goal will be crucial for us to set the tone, otherwise as we have seen all too often this season we just become frustrated as the wasted chances mount up.

Bolton tactics - so it'll be 0-0. Kos back would be great though. play Big V in midfield to crunch em a bit !!. :barscarf: :barscarf:

I'm expecting this to be very turgid and painful - a game we could really do with an early goal in.

Could very well be 0-0, West Ham would certainly take that.
