West Ham Game (H)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

under a proper coach he could be a player on the pitch.
A very fair call!
If you're going to look at stats give it a tiny bit of depth - his PL goalscoring rate is significantly slower than Eto'o, van Judas and Rooney and is nearly exactly the same as Hazard, an attacking midfielder.

And whilst he plays an incredibly demanding role, a huge number of his goals have been tap-ins from within the six-yard box that team-mates have served up on a plate. He doesn't grab goals from seemingly harmless positions like Eto'o and he doesn't have anything like the same impact on a game as Rooney.

Still think he cops more stick than he deserves.

We may be winning but gee our 'class' pace and speed of ball movement is a shadow of even earlier this season. Very one paced.

Everytime going on the right and pass to Sagna to make a cross, when Poldi is alone on the other side waving and no one even sees him...

Exactly as I predicted to my Shammers supporting mate earlier. That's 4 games on the bounce we have played against them and gone behind before blowing them away as soon as we start hitting our stride.

TV5, Santi, Källström and Podolski all excellent. Giroud a tale of two halves. Good display from K&P. Sagna did well.

Still think Arteta is past it but oh well, we're on the way to saving our CL qualifier in Turkey! :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:
