Re: Cup final tickets
if anyone want to buy club level then better to buy the "arsenal end"
blocks 227 round to 251 - behind goal will be cheapest from 235 thru to 245 - good luck to all

Do anyone information about Abbey Travel? Can they be trusted?
They have tickets......to a 'reasonable' price
But looking at their website, they are offering Club Wembley seats and accomodation for under 700 euros which if you are travelling from outside the UK doesn't seem that bad.
Black market prices are upwards of 500 euros in the UK, and they are illegal sales.

Abbey Travel are a long established and reputable firm...Based in Dublin I would certainly have no problem recommending them.manninger wrote:thanks for the tip, m8nut flush gooner wrote:As far as I can see they are an Irish Travel agent so I doubt anyone on here could comment on them.manninger wrote:Hey fellow Gooners....

That's not to say it's right of course, but it's been like this for years and years. As was mentioned earlier, it's a touts dream because the neutral tickets all get sold on at vastly inflated prices, which entirely defeats the object of distributing them amongst the grass roots clubs because that is where they all end up, on the black market.
I have more than enough credits for a ticket but I desperately want to take my son as he loved the semi final and its also his birthday weekend, but since another ticket looks impossible, I will watch the game at home with him. My ticket already has a good home so please dont bombard me with ticket requests![]()
FYI I've always had a PA to spell check and type stuff in real life !

Re: Cup final tickets
Qualified for 1 registered for another ,It will be son number 3's 3rd birthday so im staying here and donating the ticket to son number 2 !
Its a bummer but I love my little Boy and since the missus is a former kick boxer I better stay put !
Good luck to all !

I know touts are the scum of the earth, but does anyone have any good experiences to report for previous big arsenal games at wembley?
As I have already said, its a 50/50 shot for me and mates. Either 0,1,2 or 3 (unlikely I know) of us will get tickets. But I still want to go and have a budget of up to £400 preferably for club level. I wouldn't pay more than £250-£270 for any other tickets.

Re: Cup final tickets
Sportsworld, Abbey Travel and Champions Travel are all reputable, they're official partners of Wembley. Champions Travel seems to be doing 854 euros for a match ticket and nights accommodation, sports world are over a thousand (and thats in pounds).
The number of tickets the fans get is poor but at the same time the stadium needs to be paid for and the club wembley seats account for a lot of their revenue, without them there wouldnt be a 90,000 seater stadium, would be good if you could get at least 30,000 each mind.
Hope you get yourselves sorted with tickets, and please win the fucking cup, I couldnt stand to see Steve fucking Bruce's grinning mug if he got it (and as for their fans with the "mauled by the tigers" craic, woeful)

Wenger:
"I don't know well enough the rules but, before, I think one of the charms of the FA Cup final was always that the stadium was really divided in two [sets of fans]. It's a shame that it doesn't happen anymore because that was always an absolutely fantastic atmosphere".
Gazidis:
“We are disappointed many of our supporters and also those of Hull City will be unable to get tickets to the cup final. The balance in the FA’s allocation system is not right. We fully understand this is the showpiece FA fixture to celebrate the game as a whole, but we also believe the loyal supporters of the competing teams deserve a greater chance to see their team play in what is one of the biggest matches of the season. The balance in the FA’s allocation system is not right. Arsenal have approximately 45,000 season ticket holders and 150,000 members, many of whom come to games. They all give us their loyal support throughout a season but with the FA Cup final allocation at 25,000 there will be many disappointed Arsenal fans, who have supported the Club home and away for years, who will be unable to get a ticket to this historic match”.
As I've said before, for as far back as I can recall (late 1970's) it has always been roughly 25% each for the finalists and 50% for FA family, Corporates and assorted hangers on... Maybe it was different when the finals were held in Cardiff, but only because it wasn't London and so "FA family, Corporates and assorted hangers on" couldn't be arsed!
What I'd love to ask Arsene & Gazidis though is exactly how many of our 25000 seats are being given to players families, friends of the Directors, staff etc etc... If the club truly feel that the fans have been stitched up then at least they can get their own house in order by ensuring that as many tickets as possible are put into the ballot!

Re: Cup final tickets
Imo club employees do not deserve a ticket unless they carry out a role that means they can't attend games. And then it should be 1 or 2 max. The story about getting a ticket from PHW's bank manager doesn't particularly surprise me. It's bad enough that the bloke took a £75,000 year salary to do fuck all without greedily pilfering season tickets.

Not quite sure what you mean here. If an employee is a season ticket holder and has fulfilled the criteria laid down by the club of course they deserve tickets.northbank123 wrote:Imo club employees do not deserve a ticket unless they carry out a role that means they can't attend games. Most companies give employees additional perks such as pensions, life insurance etc. I am sure that Arsenal may offer their employees access to tickets as a perk of the job. As long as these perks aren't abused ie the tickets end up on the black market (which should be a sackable offence) then I dont have a problem with it. Anyway, I doubt there are many well paid jobs behind the scenes at the club.
Its just when the club start dishing out tickets to anyone loosely connected and all of a suddern 1-2000 tickets go missing is when I have an issue.

Re: Cup final tickets
Must have accidentally deleted the part where I said ".... otherwise they can buy a season ticket and qualify like the rest of us". My point is that if an employee of the club can still attend home games but chooses not to buy a season ticket, they don't deserve to get priority for finals.nut flush gooner wrote:Not quite sure what you mean here.
