As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Thank you. It's really that simple.
That's not entirely correct, nothing is that simple (where is DB by the way ), we have an abundance of very good players in the central midfield position and it's not a position that needs more bodies, we desperately need a world class DM (not flamini, I thought he was ok at the start of the season but as it wore on he got worse), a world class Forward, a good right back and another left back as well a centre half.
We ain't buyin that many players so a forward and DM are priorities.
So by your logic we shouldn't have bought Özil?
You must be using fuzzy logic there cos where did I quote we shouldn't have bought ozil (although deffo overpriced at 42 mil)
Often thought TV might be a useful DM ? No more tippy tappers please - brute of a proper goal scoring centre forward, a real hard fucker if not TV as a DM ....both ideally will some real pace....and any tough tackling pacey left back who is not either injury prone or useless.......oh, and a manager with a winners mentality would be quite nice too!

I agree. At least have him train there over the summer and try it out in the emirates cup.

Abiove all we need a Captain with a brain !
And a pair of balls to knock some of the pussified players we presently have into shape!
Cesc gave the club good service for the best part of his tenure here but the one thing were crying out for is a 30 goal a season striker!!! Though still a good player he doesn't bring what we need to this club !! He's had his time here let's move on !!!!!

If you're looking for a "hard fucker" who will dive into challenges at DM look no further than Flamini. If that's what you want, he does the job well.
If you actually want a proper DM whose anticipation, position and judgement will be superb (by far the most important attributes for that role), have a think at why Vermaelen can't get a game at CB. He is rash and relies on reacting to play far too much, it would be exposed every bit at DM as much as it is at CB.
I feel bad about Jack but Scholes is kind of right. He hasn't progressed much. He did everything he does now 4 years ago when he was in our reserves.
Getting rid of Ozil would further signify we cannot keep hold of our big name players regardless of how they are performing. Signing Ozil was a fantastic boost for the players, selling him will have a knock on effect.
If we were to sell anyone it should be Wilshire. He's overrated, goes down like a tart and is always injured.
With all the success Barca have had over the past decade, 30 thousand turned up for their last home game now that it looks unlikely they are going to win the league. 30 thousand out of a 100 thousand plus capacity while still in with an outside shot of the league? Coupled with the abuse of Cesc by the fans, their dodgy transfer dealings and tapping up of players and their usual on field antics of play acting and surrounding the refs they are a right despicable shower of bastards.
He got his move back to his beloved whores, so he can fucking stay there, also the only way he would come back would be to run into the arms of a new contract signing wenger and fuck that.
Some people on here make me laugh, as they are selective with which ex-gooners they like, and dislike. Fabregas went on strike to get a move to Barca, and couldn't even be bothered to turn up to see the club play in its final league game, before he left. Also it is quite clear that he has no feeling towards The club, as if he did, he wouldn't have considered a move to United last season, and he may well end up there this summer. It will be interesting to see how fans on here will view him, if he ends up at those wankers.
