And so it begins. Thanks to the spinelessness and greed of FIFA, we have to put up with yet another summer of rumours of these cnuts poaching our players.

He never wanted to leave Madrid in the first place but they needed cash and we duly obliged so it left him with no real option but to join us. People can try and dismiss it if they like but his body language for the past few months does not suggest a guy that is happy with his lot. I don't know if that is a result of not liking the country, not liking the food, not liking the English people (as if ) or just not happy with the team/ambitions/manager but I don't believe that he is happy and I don't think that it would take a lot to get him to agree to a move away.

I know that I said it back in September, but I will say it again.......we have no need to keep ozil, cazorla and rosicky in the squad - they all do the same job and personally I would rather keep ozil, but at the same time I would be very comfortable selling any one of them

No way would Arsene take a 12.5 mil loss over a period of one season on a player, I thought Ozil was great in his earlier appearances but after the loss of Walcott and Ramsey it massively impacted on his game and his options were limited to the sloth up front, that would depress even the most optimistic of players

at this point I couldn't give a toss if we sold Ozil,he adds fuck all to the team and his signing hasn't been the catalyst for more big signings like we thought it would do.if selling him to barca could be done with Cesc coming back id be over the moon,now theres a player who puts in a shift,sticks the boot in and knows what it is to play for Arsenal.

I loved Cesc when he was a gooner, felt a bit let down at the end with the barca twats putting that shirt on him but IF he did come back do you think that he would be affected by the fact that his boyhood dream never really came off and that in fact the fans at that boyhood club slated him

He wouldn't be the first player to just about give it up after a failed big money move, they still turn up and play cos it's their profession but never have the same passion for the game again.

Good to see FIFA's cast-iron transfer ban working perfectly too. How long was it before it was rescinded, three days?

I fully expect to see Mong and Aliadiere wearing the red shirt at least once more in their illustrious careers. Lord Wenger will announce how mature they've been and make some sad comment about "sorry that he didn't cost 30m" when he has one half decent game

Even though I would have wanted Mandzukic over OG [somewhat of an upgrade], I would have preferred someone with more versatility like Martinez, Benzema [a bit lazy but effective], Balotelli or Falcao.

re: Oz11, I really cant believe people here are calling for him to be sold. No way I would want Oz11 to leave us now. He wasnt used properly this season PLUS didnt have the likes of Poldi and Theo for major parts of the season to show his worth. Let's hope Le Caterpilie has learnt.
