Weekend's Other Matches - 26th/27th April

Best league in the world may be decided by an overrated old bloke in midfield giving the ball away. This game is the kind of defending that the Italians made their own in 90s.

As much as I hate Maureen, this set up is impressive as it was when he completely nullified Barca and Bayern against Inter a few years ago.

They are going to be hard to stop from winning the champs league, if shitty and the dippers get turned over by Palace,a distinct possibility, then Maureen could do a league, champs league double in his first season back.

To borrow from the Sky hyperbole cliche-o-meter, this will blow the title race wide open.

It's good to see Mourinho is above these "park the bus" tactics too.

It wasn't that long ago that our team would be set up like this. We used to win trophies by parking the bus, remember copenhagen 94?

Fair play to the chavs, they have shown how you nullify a fast fluent football team.

Of course. We were massive underdogs though and we hadn't spent the best part of £500m on our squad. I've never denigrated Mourinho's tactical ability but I despair at his bemoaning of opposition tactics when he is the most negative manager around.

Its a good result for us that. Hopefully Citeh will win it and get kicked out of CL next year (IK long shot). City will have plenty to play for against Everton and should see us 4th comfortably.

Don't see City winning their last 3, especially away to Everton. But seeing a desperate Stevie Mee firing shots from all over the pitch in a pathetic attempt to make amends was priceless. Anyone but Liverpool.

These :censored: are so going to get found next season when they have to cope with Europe and the prem. If Shitty don't bottle it now, then they have lost the chance to win the league for years to come.

That defence is terrible, Suarez will f**k off in the summer, to PSG as replacement for Cavani/Madrid as replacement for Benzema.

Unkess they get Falcao(not going to happen), then they will slide down the league to their rightful place. Come on Shitty, don't bottle it

I'm off to Rawk for an early evening of wetting myself laughing. They lost to their most hated manager with the cock up provided by their most loved player. Shakespeare would struggle to write such wonderful tragicomedy.
