I can't believe some of the comments on the last page re Özil. Yeah let's get rid of our only proven world class player. Fabolous idea.

Laughable isn't it? Even when not playing well and surrounded by paceless lumps he still makes more happen in the final third then anyone else in the squad, bar perhaps an in-form Ramsey. I saw a really funny comment on a different website the other week, apparently we should sell Mesut and sign Ross Barkley instead   . I have no idea how someone like that even gets dressed in the morning.

To be fair I think the vast majority would prefer to sell cazorla and not ozil. As I said previously, I don't see the need for having 3 players (ozil, cazorla and rosicky) that all do the same job and that is especially relevant when you have a squad that has not got a top quality striker or top quality DM - for some reason fans seem incapable of recognising the importance of team balance and place an over emphasis on keeping 3 quality players despite the fact that, in a properly balanced team, only one of them would be starting

really shouldn't be contemplating selling ozil or santi.

Our squad is thin anyway and everybody will get a game. In times of our new financial 'firepower' isn't about time we had a strong bench, instead of a bench of kids who's destiny is the championship or league one.

I like the fact that Welbeck is mooted as a "Giroud upgrade" So much mindfuckery going on there with that suggestion that my brain has imploded.

"Reports last month suggested that Puma - who signed a £150m kit sponsorship deal with the Gunners earlier this season - are willing to stump up as much as £15m to bring Balotelli back to England.

Meanwhile, Milan's asking price is thought to have fallen to £40m and with Raiola - who counts Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba amongst his clients - pulling the strings a summer move cannot be ruled out any longer."

From Wenger's interview on Pravda:

On talks with Bacary Sagna...
At the moment they are not progressing. We know what we want from him, he knows what is on the table and that's where we are. The ball is not in our camp anymore, it is in his camp, and he needs to come back to us.

 :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

On Arteta
I like Mikel Arteta because of his quality, his focus, his commitment and his winner's attitude. I have big respect for what he has achieved this season. He is very conscientious, very professional and he has a couple of years left [at the top].

Once again inspector clueless and his transfer cohorts get it Totally WRONG!...they are willing to let one of our best defenders go on a free...and yet seem happy with a player who no longer has the legs or stamina to keep up with the pace of the Prem...f*ckin' Typical

 :banghead: :cussing:

I have noticed the talks of Griezman are surfacing in the papers much more than Draxler. I am not sure we should get both.

What are your thoughts on one over the other?

Peace

I watch a good bit of Sociedad. I think we should aim higher. I think Draxler will be the better player long term but we need to focus on a quick, already-developed centre forward.

War.
