Copenhagen 20 years ago today

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

My all time favourite one nil to the Arsenal although Old Trafford 2002 comes very close :barscarf:

If ever there was a lesson in the art of defending then this was it. Playing against a far technically superior Parma side who had a couple of players who could be genuinely described as world class.

Sadly after that great night, GG decided to deploy the same tactics in all 38 league games

Probably my 2nd best moment as a Gooner (after Anfield 89)

Had three quarters of the ground, backs to the wall, had a couple of close scares, but ultimately we were destined to win 1-0 :barscarf:

Had a fantastic couple of days in Copenhagen, where even the ugly women were beautiful.

Went without a ticket to this one, but bought two off a guy queuing for a bus at the long stay car park at Stansted. If you haven't got a ticket for the FA Cup final don't give up hope!

Great back to the wall performance. 1-0 to the Arsenal indeed!!!!

20 years ago? Jesus that's mental. Remember the flight out very well. Was sat next to the fattest Gooner you've ever seen. Great support in the stadium, boosted by loads of Scandinavian fans on our side.

This was also famous for this GG moment!!

The quarter finalists for the ECWC that year were possibly stronger than the Champions league (or was it still European cup then ?) two great 1-0 home wins in the quarter and semi finals meant there couild only be one score in the final.Parma had a very decent team at the time but in my opinion Bould had his greatest game in an Arsenal shirt that night. Great memories.

Amazing day, mate of myne managed to get his hand impaled on a spike in the fence. He was soo pissed he didnt feel a thing and watched the whole game after he was patched up. Was in agony on the way home mind.
