Baggies (H) VT, and Arsene's contract

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

My laptop decided to do updates just before we scored so I sat through 93mins of a f**king training game and saw no goals.

I'm off to the park where I might see some 10yr olds muster something more like a competitive game than that turgid sh*te. Roll on Norwich, one big p*ss up pre wembley party :barscarf: :barscarf:

I don't really think you can slate the team, the job was done, the game was a nothing game and players are looking to the cup final.yes it was shit but it was a meaningless game for us and considering brom needed a win it was another clean sheet,im happy enough but we need to step it up for the final

Was Arteta holding his groin there ?
Think he was hopeful that Diaby was coming off the bench and wanted to join SteveO in appreciation ?

Meh. Would have been nice to give them a tonking but realistically just looking to win the game to keep building momentum and more importantly avoid any injuries or needless suspensions.

It was dire to watch but predictable. Seemed strange that West Brom appeared to be equally apathetic. Simple goal and poor defending but it was nice to see Giroud shrugging somebody off like that, he does not use his physicality anywhere near well enough imo.

on him being back next season…

Yes. I don't know [when I will sign a new deal]. I told you many times that my word is my word. i am from a period where you did not need a pen to commit.

Game was dull. Didn't stay for the lap of shame. A halfhearted rendition of "One Arsene Wenger" in block 6 on about 80 mins.

Same again next season? :banghead:

Yeah Arsene, we'd noticed that you were out of your depth in the 2014 football world.
