THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

"footballing reason's" it's called. They want to achieve, to actually attempt to win the big competitions.

I actually admired Nasri and Van Persie for leaving in order to win trophies although I will probably get slated on here for saying that.

I did still call Nasri a :censored: when he returned to play against us though :D

I missed this one. Another fucking trophy you miserable bastards

At least the ground staff are doing their job, unlike the one that sends the players out onto that pitch...The 128 days spent on top is embarrassing to look at now , it was no surprise to anyone on here that we would not be on the top when it really mattered. If anyone draws any comfort from the 128 day stat then they are as deluded as Wenger himself.

I have disliked wanker for a long time now, but it has become hatred after that shambolic January transfer window, when we turned down the chance to sign Draxler, because we didn't attempt to pay a realistic transfer fee, but attempted to pay what Wenger thought he was worth. Then we pissed around until the last day of the window before attempting to sign a striker, that we badly needed, and the reason for all this, is because wanker knew that the VT was all but guaranteed, so didn't bother making an actual effort, because the man is a loser. Also any delusional idiot that still wants to defend Wanker, then I have two words for you, Kim Kallstrom.

"Arsene Wenger has revealed he was on the verge of signing Eden Hazard before Chelsea swooped in.
The Arsenal boss said he had Hazard's agent discussing the deal at his home, but London rivals Chelsea's financial power won the battle for his signature from French side Lille."

How many ore virtual signings will we have to endure...

The fact is had we had a proper negotiator in charge of the deal he would have done whatever was necessary to ensure Hazard signed on the dotted line for us and not the chavscum.....with wenger in charge of all aspects of the club - we can be sure there will be many more of this kind of thing..

WENGER OUT.

this.

Why is Wenger meeting with agents - that is NOT the managers job.

no wonder we are so poorly organized and prepared for games in pre-season and early season, if the manager who is SUPPOSED to be coaching the squad and overseeing fitness etc is at home with players agents

:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

why doesn't the club see these common threads ?

WENGER OUT.
Yaya Toure, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Didier Drogba, Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo to name a few, but here is the problem.
Due to the lack of depth in the squad if Sagna was injured, Bale would have stood in as emergency right back, when Diaby and Arteta were out Toure & Ronaldo would have dropped back as holding midfielders (a sluggish, injured Scandinavian player would have arrived on loan as cover), and Wenger would have instructed Ibrahimovic to play right wing to help 'develop' his striker instinct.

its not religion or blind faith - its stupidity - "another exciting season of wengerball" .....seems no-one watches away games then.

not one mention there of the 6-3,5-1,6-0,3-0 away humiliations.

dicks.

Replacing Wenger's going to be like the first taking over from ferguson.

Yes, the guy who takes over is going to be under so much pressure after Wenger not winning the league for 15 years.
