Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
No need to be depressed, Arsenal are the greatest team bar none. However the AW situation is causing fractures amongst Gooners that is indeed very sad.
Wonder when you would consider that his time has come though? There are many managers who would in all likelihood be better or at worst as good? Klopp, Anchelotti, Van Boer Simeone possibly.

Oh you little scallywag turricaned.turricaned wrote:Not what I said - what I said was that I wasn't talking about AW in either a positive or negative sense - I was just trying to discuss the issues. The fact that the divide is so bitter on here - particularly on the anti-side, makes me a bit depressed about being an Arsenal supporter quite frankly.armchair wrote:Thats right. Whatever you do, dont mention Wenger regarding "the issues we've had". Cause he is definitely nothing to do with it.

Here is what you actually said. Nothing about positive. Nothing about negative.
Poor Arsene has nothing to do with our "issues" The blame always lies somewhere else. Poor Arsene.turricaned wrote:In fact since I started I've barely said anything about AW in regards to the issues we've had - mostly all I've said is that we've had them........

Heres the thing......
Myself and others who want Wenger out are not afraid to admit it. To varying degrees us WOBs respect/disagree with/feel sorry for/dislike/hate/loathe him etc, etc. And are not afraid (or even proud) to call ourselves WOBs
But the Wenger supporters on the other hand take offence to being called AKBs. They usually preface every defence of him by saying "I'm not an AKB but...." What I dont understand is why are the Wenger supporters so defensive about it? Stand up and be counted FFS. Dont be afraid to admit you want Wenger to stay under any circumstances. Embrace it and be proud.
No time at all for the #flipfloppers though. A good half a season. Top of the league in December and they didnt know which end of them was up. Couldnt wait to preach to those who recognised that there was still a long way to go. Now they are back to calling for Wengers head or sitting on the fence.

And Armchair - check out this fella
"Last year I was an Arsene Wenger hater" - then admits he's changed to a believer because he signed Ozil....and no doubt just before we were crowned Calendar Year champions

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
top quote from Wonga today :
and apparently the gap between us and city is "nothing"....
despite their GD being about 30 higher than ours...nothing.
i think he has Alzheimers. seriously, that can be the only reason for the total lack of awarenesss.
see. this is why we didn't win the league. Wonga had planned on 3.5 points a win, not 3...."You know, seven points is nothing. It is two games," said Wenger
