Let's All Laugh At Man Utd! (Merged thread)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The little boy inside makes it 3-1.....glory nights like tonight beating Hull reserves to keep the distant dream of the Europa League alive are the reason he joined them

I never understand why managers take this sort of stance- if not asked now he will look a proper dick, yet its surely unlikely that he will release this statement if he has had any approach, gives the impression of a leak in the midst :?

Probably all BS from the BBC :box:

Have to admit the bitter bastard in me is delighted that the Manure downfall has coincided with the ungrateful judas prick that is VanJudasCunt tying his flag to their mast. 8) Yeah sure he got that one PL winners medal, but I imagine he thought he would have years of success at the highest level ahead of him with the Filth. Imagine his face when he first heard that Rednose was leaving! Imagine his face after that first training session with the Very Average Chosen One, when he realised the wrong man got the job!

There (hopefully) will be a few nice comeuppances this season. RVJC winning nothing with the Filth and Arsehole Moron-hio winning nothing with the chav$ (especially after his "specialist in failure" comments), and (hopefully) us winning the FA Cup. Hopefully. :D

Sweet indeed. 8)

Sadly this one season will be regarded as just a blip as the team changed managerial horses, it may take a while to rebuild but they won't sit on their hands for the best part of a decade unlike us, if van gaal flops he'll be shown the door just like agent moyes.

Still not so sure, they need massive rebuiding, and their "business model" is screwed up big time. Another year or two away from Europe and its troubles. The plastic fans will melt away as fast as the slide may happen (I hope!)

I think they'll be back thereabouts next year. It will take them a while to rebuild anything like the fear that teams showed against them but less fatigue, fewer injuries and a few key additions and they'll fly up the table.

Hope they beat Saints and Spurs lose their game so they finish in the Europa League. It will harm their season and will serve as an unneeded distraction. Plus it will be fun to watch them play on Thursdays.

ironically, Van Gaal may be the end of wonga - if he can buy well and turn them round, united may get 4th - city, chavs and liverpool will be stronger next year, and we'll be in the Europa League...

Our board have not got the bollocks to sack him...
They will sit there and wait for him to run down the new contract that he is surely going to sign after the FA cup final. :(

Had to double check the title of this thread after reading the last page. I honestly thought it was a take the p*ss out of manure. Imagine my surprise that it was just another anti Arsene thread.

Gets boring reading the same thing in EVERY thread.

Manchester United and Liverpool want to bring former Arsenal midfielder Alex Song, 26, back to the Premier League from Barcelona.

Full story: Daily Mirror

This rumour refuses to go away......imagine Fellaini and Song together. Dumb and Dumber. The QE2 would be able to turn quicker than that midfield

Exactly Topgoon, keep your anti wenger bile to the wenger thread you *word censored*

And manu won't be back as quickly as some on here predict, they could well get worse before they get better and I for one hope to fuck they get worse.

Some on here though are probably wishing manu get a lot better and push us out of the top 4 and they call wenger a *word censored* :?

Get worse? I'll be honest and say I was a million miles off with my prediction of where they'd be this season, but get worse? They are going to throw around money like there's no tomorrow this summer, a fresh manager and fresh approach and a less congested fixture list. I don't think they'll win the title next year but I expect them to certainly be in contention for top 4.

I don't think there's a massive difference in terms of quality in the squad between say us, them and Liverpool. Certainly nothing a window can't change.

But where are they going to get the money from to throw around, theres no Oil money no Europe money and huge wage payments earmarked already. Added to that all clubs KNOW MAnure are in need of rebuild so will ask for much extra for transfers, PLUS players signed up will be expecting similar riches. Besides though of course Manure are the biggest team in the world :blah: :blah: that does put extra pressure on players signed as well. Would RVJC for instance have been tempted to move there in the same circumstances happened this year instead of 2 years ago :rubchin:

Besides Im confused- Scum spend £100m and get no where, why should Manure do any better, oops sorry thats an arguement for our lack of spending
