THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We might?

But we didn't win, and they might have beaten us.

Seriously, stop dealing in mights and deal in what has actually happened under Wenger.

No league title since 2004.

Remove Kroenke remove Wenger.

It's a choice of two evils - the wig wearer or usmanov, the positive of having the latter own the club would be that he would not tolerate Le French Folly not spending the £200 mill or so he would make available....either way thanks to the greedy *word censored* on the board Arsenal the club some of us have followed for over 40 years will NEVER be the same again.

Either way we is f*cked.

Must be from all the royalties from the Planet Of The Apes films.

And as for excuses, we just need the 'roundness of the ball' and 'the type of grass' and we'll be close to the full set.

Oh, and finally I'm a newby, Wenger Out. :barscarf:

I need to consult the help of my feng shui master as I think bad feng shui could be one of the cause too

Time to procure a 'hail to the chef' apron and some charcoal briquettes for the BBQ.

It's been obvious he's staying for a while, keeps slipping in comments about how he's said he will stay and how he always honours his word.

Why hasn't the deal been signed then? I'm genuinely a bit puzzled. The club would give him a 1-year or 10-year contract depending on what he wanted, and he can't exactly ask for much more influence on the team. Could it be that he is haggling for more money?

Gutted. Can't wait for the FA Cup final but basically writing off the next 2 or 3 years makes me feel empty.

Few of the old bingo card classics in there as well as six 'overall' mentions :D

"Keeping everybody together is the priority"
"Injuries at the important part of the season"
"In the World Cup year nothing happens until after the World Cup"

But fuck all that.....the great man is staying......its summer BBQ time

Being the shameless greedy motherfucker that he is it may very well be the reason why he hasn't yet.
