Looking at the rest of our side I'm a bit worried - it's strong and if he doesn't feel the need to rest Giroud, Ozil etc why would he 'rest' Szczesny. Can only hope he's giving Flappy a swansong and I think it's through hope more than reason that I'm clinging onto the fact that he's not announced Flappy will start as he did in the previous round.

I think that Flappy starting today is confirmation that he is also starting in the final...hoping that the same also applies to Gibbs and that he comes through the game unscathed.

Still can't understand why he didn't also start with Wilshere (if only to prove his fitness to start on the bench next week), and hope that it isn't some misguided loyalty to the player to ensure he gets on the plane to Brazil...

Watching the City players celebrating their title win has got me very jealous. Can't wait for this now.

My first FA cup final I'm lucky enough to get tickets, I've booked off the Monday as it's going to get very messy :barscarf:

Not wishing to tempt fate...but IF we did happen to win then where do people head afterwards? Presume it's back to N5 rather than Trafalgar Square...?

Aaah yes, but in order to be able to actually 'see' the Virtual Trophy, one will need to buy a pair of those special Arsene Spectacles on sale at the Armoury for £29.99. They come with a little pouch with The Arsene Oooops! I mean Arsenal F C emblem on it.

They will also be selling those Black & Grey furry hats....ie: Wigs (Called Stan Specials) only £99.99p - They come with a small tube of glue so they don't blow away in the wind.

its going to be 1-0 either way.

we should batter them, but we will leave Pod on the bench, and play sanogo. caz and ozil will both play.

i'm a massive fan of the Cup, but for the first time in 26 years i'm really not looking forward to it. sorry.

Im extremely worried about this. If we weren't managed by professor clueless then I would say complacency wont be an issue, but undoubtedly we will go into it thinking we have won before a ball is kicked, and.... I don't even want to think about losing, just fucking win it, COYG.

We've gone into full flat-track bully mode. There's no reason why we shouldn't be able to do the same this game, but I really worry about our mental state. This squad fundamentally lacks bottle and letting the occasion get to them is a huge concern.

My worry is that we start slowly but (unlike today) lose our composure, panic a bit and start making wrong decisions, trying to force the ball, making mistakes etc. We should be able to take the game by the scruff of the neck from the off but realistically that's unlikely to happen imo and we need to have the confidence and discipline to stick with it if we don't.

We all know that Wenger is pretty useless in terms of substitutes and especially changing the gameplan so if we get nervous and blow our gameplan we are fucked.
