The argument with the WUM is just going in circles over and over. Most of you have smashed his defenses down time and time again only for him to change the goal posts for wengers excuses down to even blaming the weather ffs.

Turicaned is so adamant that Wenger has had no money to spend but where is the proof of this???

There is just as much proof he had no money to spend as there is to the argument that he CHOSE not to spend it. The WUM thinks only last summer was the money there to spend and cites Ozil as proof and I say the board signed him over wengers head to dispel the dissent that grew in the stands after the villa debacle. The WUM cant prove his side just as we cant prove ours.

At the end of the day weather he likes it or not there are many managers who would have done better with the squad we had this season at worst performed the same. Wenger is easily replaceable at this point and getting rid of him and having Simeone or Klopp IMO wouldnt be any worse, probably better. Wenger is easier to remove than the board as his ego wont allow the fans to question him and he will walk. Get rid of him, replace him with the managers we have all discussed before and see if the lack of spending is still present. If it is then we know its the board and havent lost anything as like I said Klopp etc would at least deliver the same as Wenger.

To keep on going like this wont change anything and only increase our trophy drought. To get the board out will take to much work and the fans arent willing to put that in i.e dropping their season tickets en masse etc. Theres only one way to find out what the problem at The Arsenal is and thats to remove the one thing we all suspect is the problem.

Hope this post was understandable as I found it hard to get across what I meant and rambled a bit :banghead:

I'm saying he was the only person more convinced that we were going to sign Jovetic and especially Higuain than 1989

Apart from maybe the bloke who photoshops prospective signings' heads onto Arsenal kits. Unless that's 1989 too

Not saying there isnt merit, but Pulis tactics will only get you so far - and certainly dont compete consistently with the very best teams.
I don't see what that has to do with what I said. I am just saying that almost all managers in the Premier League do have a game plan an in game situations. Pulis went into Palace, saw that he didn't have the same players and tailored his tactics to match Crystal Palace. I seriously doubt that would ever happen at Arsenal under Wenger. If it did, we would be a lot better for it.

Also, I know that most here hate Pulis, but the man should win Manager of the Year hands down. What he has done at Palace is nothing short of remarkable.

Absolutely agree about Manager of the Year. People will view Rodgers as a brave choice because they didn't win the league but whilst they performed well above expectations Pulis has done an absolutely remarkable job.

My opinion is not based on what Tancredi Whatshisface tweeted. I've suspected for a while now that Wenger is waiting for the Cup final before committing. Why else has he not signed yet?

Hopefully he's leading us all on and is actually intending to move on.

Don't tease Rodders, we all know the board would offer his cold dead corpse a ten year deal.

I actually had a little bit of wee come out then from laughing so hard........how far do you think Wonga's 'tactics' will/have taken Arsenal??

Oh fuck, that's right, Arseole Wonga is THE most tactically inept manager in the PL. No doubt about it.

The point is that Suarez showed no interest in coming to London and I can't see him having the same impact on our stats as he did on LFC's.
But that's not true though is it. All the reports coming out of Liverpool clearly said that Suarez was trying to engineer a move to Arsenal. I'm sure he would also have jumped at the chance to join Real or Barca, but the fact is last summer he was pushing for a move to Arsenal. And if we hadn't insulted the mousers with the ludicrous +£1 rubbish, he would have joined us.

Secondly, how anyone can think that a player of Suarez's ability wouldn't improve a team is beyond me. :|

I can understand why he would wait until after the cup final, now that he has left it this long, but it is hardly going to go down well should we lose on Saturday.

lets face it the backlash against Wenger would be huge should he lose at Wembley.
would he seriously then sign a new contract next week?? :rubchin:

I love your insane optimism, Rodders. But we will win the cup, we already won the VT. Arsene ain't going nowhere anytime soon. :(
