RE Flappy v Chesney.

It's a bit of the lesser of two evils in a way. Neither are good enough to be first choice at a club with title/CL ambitions to be honest. They both have huge flaws in their game.

I've said previously I'd play Flappy as Chesney is a liability in big games, if he turns up with that stupid fucking cocky grin of his. I see that grin in the tunnel and I KNOW he is shipping at least one absolute howler. No coincidence he was the keeper in every hiding we got this season and whilst he can't take sole blame for those hidings I would say many of the goals were save-able.

BUT;

Flappy is also an accident waiting to happen. He has done well in the cup with his saves and good performances far outweighing the couple of flaps he's made (and was lucky to get away with to be honest).

I'd pick Chesney over the course of a whole season to play in the PL, but I think for a one-off cup final I'd go with Flappy, because I just know if Chesney turns up with that stupid cocky grin then we are letting in at least one or two fucking easy ones.

Having said that I reckon Wenger will pick Chesney. Hopefully he'll turn up with his brain and some humility switched on. :|

But I've a bad feeling Chesney will cost us. Also if Flamoney starts I have that feeling he is going to give away a stupid penno by lunging in with one of his Hollywood tackles... :| :worried:

It wasn't the quality of your English that I was referring to - it was your ability to understand my post ie your 'comprehension' of it. What I was suggesting is that your criticism was misguided if you had understood it properly. But well picked up on the small 'i' - that is outstanding. Keep going with your insults while you're at it instead of reading properly. By the way its 'Oh' not 'Ohh'.
Just to summarize, your message was that "the FA cup has sold its soul" and then you hark back to famous matches of the past - if you had properly read my post you would have actually agreed with it rather than go on like a pork chop. Finally, I'd suggest knocking on doors rather than doorsteps - are you finding you get no response?
You are saying that its nothing like the excitement that used to come with a cup final win, I am saying it is, more because we haven't won a trophy for 9 years than anything else. That is nothing to do with the FA cup being devalued by the likes of Wenger and Ferguson it's a personal thing. I also suspect with the thousands of ticket less fans that will flock to watch the game in and around the stadium, they are getting the same vibe.

And I can't understand how any gooner wouldn't get the same feeling. To go 9 years without a trophy in the way we have is depressing, so why when he get a sniff of what is still a significant piece of silverware do you have to be so negative. That's why the emirates is such a library, because its full of miserable fuckers like you.
Yes, I am saying it doesn't carry the same level of excitement because it doesn't have the same level of competition or regard. That's my view. You think differently - welcome to the forum ya knob.
Do I want us to win - of course. Did I say I want Wenger to play his best 11 so we can try and return some respect to the Cup - yes. Did you previously say "no doubt the cup has sold it's soul" - yes. Is there a debate as to whether we will play our best side? Yes. Does this differentiate it from say 1979 when that wouldn't even have been a consideration - Yes. Am I a miserable fucker that can't read, can't comprehend, insults views that actually aren't that dissimilar and makes personal comments without any knowledge about the person they are aimed at - No - why? Because that's you ya cock.
You wouldn't have a fuckin clue you ass clown.

It's no major problem, Swifty. We tend to let these minor spats go a bit, let people blow off steam. They usually resolve themselves in a few posts, but if they look like dragging on we give those involved a gentle reminder to go to PM if they want to continue.

Was pondering what shirt to wear on Saturday. Then one of my little girls pops up with a very nice polo shirt from Arsenal World of Sport that she picked up on her first trip to the Emirates for the WBA game for my birthday  Dilemna sorted!

I am confident of a comfortable win...usually leading up to big games I have no confidence but I just cannot see how Hull will outscore us...especially with there 2 best players cup tied
We are better than them in every position and are in reasonable form whereas Hull have not won for a month or so.

Think I'll go with the retro 71 yellow top a la Charlie George. Wish we were playing in yellow!

Although despite being assured I had a ticket sorted 3 weeks ago still hasn't been absolutely confirmed. NERVOUS.

i see that there is a posible parade planned for Sunday.

now considering Wenger considers the top 4 finish more important than the FA Cup, shouldnt the parade go ahead as planned regardless of whether we win on Saturday or not?
